I like this, but it took only a few seconds to realise that the timer would never hit 0 untill I just stopped trying. It is way too easy to keep the timer up indefinitely. I also never clicked a -2 by accident and that is not a flex.
Definitely has potential if tuned and expanded a bit more, I believe.

Hey, I really love this game.
In the beginning I found it quite hard to steer my ship to collect more components, but later I was very glad it was like that in the beginning and think its the perfect balance between difficulty and being controllable for beginners, where the difficulty actually makes the game vibe work well. The 10 second timer is also too short in a very good way where you get the rushing feel I imagine was very much intended. I can already imagine myself steering better and building better ships in later runs with some more practise and experience. The second play made me appreciate the progression between having little fual and trying to steer till having more fuel and more capabilities.
The beginning of the game is also very good in my opinion, even though I somehow read over the goal of the game, my bad.
Some things I would change:
- I didn't know that I could rotate components with right mouse. I feel like that should be mentioned in the text beforehand as well as be on screen permanently like the self destruction with k, making it possible for people who've missed it on e.g. the itch page to discover it while playing.
- I never knew how many Glorbos I shot down, I need a score for this.
- When I won the game the thrusting sound was still continuously playing, but I feel that is undesirable.
