Really fun game! After four stages though you can't really improve anymore though, and it was a bit frustrating that the health didn't reset. All in all very neat idea though!

the paddles seem to be offset from the center of the ball launcher, so i couldn't get the game to work. I think the idea itself makes a lot of sense though and I'd love to have played the working version

Really playable! one of the more complete games this jam. But it does get repetitive after a while and the visuals on top don't feel connected to the actions you take. the game could theoretically be just the buttons at the bottom.

Also : THATS A LOTTA BEER!

almost finished the game, but the game was really hard.

It's a bit tricky to see the red stuff coming if you're on the left side of the particle accelerator, but other than that nice mechanics. Really creative interpretation of the theme!

The piss was a nice touch 😏

I really liked that the pipes were pushing the plumber. I didn't get the third level at first, but when I figured it out it made sense!

We're Little Feels, a small team of one developer/artist(7y experience) and one psychologist (Masters), we're professionals and already have a couple small prototypes, so this means we won't be qualified to be part of the voting, so keep this in mind if our project sounds interesting to you. We're incredibly passionate about kid's mental health and find the mission of the "Safe in our World"-charity incredibly inspiring and important!!! We want to use the game jam as a framework to develop Little Feels further, it's a mobile/tablet game with a bunch of game modes, where kids learn to recognise their emotions, regulate their emotions, recognise emotions in others and help them deal with it. Our first topic is about Anger and how that can make you & others feel. Help kids see the consequences, help them be aware of their body and facial expressions and similar. Each topic has a dedicated character who's also a real world plush toy, this helps parents and kids talk about the topic and take learnings into everyday life. We also supply parents with additional material so they know how to approach the subject with their kids, help them deal with their feelings in stressful situations such as tantrums, etc.

We are super hyped and are currently working fulltime on the project in hopes to get funding down the road. We're making stories, designing characters, developing game modes and crafting a fun psychology based experience for small kids, so they have something better to do with their iPad time than watch TikToks. Check out our pitchdeck https://pitch.com/v/little-feels-pitch_htw-application-v2idme and add me on Discord: antsaare We're interested in working with anyone who's talented and passionate about mental health!! Especially animation, voice acting or audio are things we're bad at, so reach out if you're interested in contributing!

Thanks a bunch! I played your game as well, it made me smile! 😁

Hey, congrats on finishing the jam!!

the controls were a bit odd with the camera on the outside and I didn't quite understand how to change the direction I'm aiming my shots at. Other than that it was quite alright. I personally didn't like the interpretation of the theme here, because even though you technically swapped out the theme to be non violent, it's still a shooter at it's core. other than that, very good 😁 and props to you for making everything yourself!

oohh, cuuuuteee!

I had some fun, but after like the 6th level or so you notice that you need to finish every game with two playthroughs. very straightforward and very simple though!

Thanks so much! Yeah... I was just one person working on everything myself and even though I'm good at programming, I didn't start implementing any features up until 8 hours before the submission end 😂. As you can probably tell, the main focus was spent on the art and creating a comforting atmosphere, which I think are most important for games that are not violent. Beauty is the antithesis to violence. So yeah... The controls are really not ideal and the gameplay can be improved 😅

I'll check yours out as well!

Hey there! I can't upload a windows build because this was part of a game jam and the submission period ended. I did upload a webGL Build to one of my other game's pages though, so feel free to check it out there. It's the same game without any changes at all.

At first I was like, wow these controls suck...

But then I noticed, wow, the game would be a lot easier if you were a ball. Kinda like the red ball games are. Interesting concept and nice meta gameplay. Made me think

Has been a lot of fun to work on this!
