I answered DimsdaleDimadome about the minigames, but I will add that the games were originally so much longer, when I playtested it I realized how much of a pain they are and made them shorter. But yeah the real problem wasn't only their duration but how they fit within the narration.

Thank you ! I was so worried that the narrative wouldn't work, but after what everyone is saying I guess it was okay.
I wanted to make so many mini games and knew I could make most of them but I didn't question myself on wether or not they are fun or fitting with the narrative.

Great game with actual fun gameplay and moody visuals ! I have nothing to criticize, this is the best one I played so far !

Looks like the game isn't finished, or I am a certified dumb dumb. It's really good looking and the sound design is here (even tho there are some clicks in the bell loop) !

Yeah the text system was the first thing I worked on and I made it really poorly, at the end of the development I had to override so much code for the later dialogues...

One of the most polished games so far !
The only thing I could criticize is the scale in difficulty, but heh skill issue X)

I felt a bit stuck at some point but I love the little penguin's animations, it's so cool that you managed to make 3D visuals for the jam !

I played again and noticed the volume slider is by default set to 0 so you can't reduce the volume

Even tho it's just a collecting game you get extra points because you managed to jumpscare me lmao

A very short game but I liked the ambiance of it. It is sad that the music doesn't loop.

A very short game, you can go faster by pressing two keys at the same time, this allowed me to speedrun it in 91 seconds.

Fun little game ! With more time I can see the game get expended with more levels and obviously better visuals. Making the levels more narrow and the camera larger will make the gameplay more strategic I think, I often got 180ed by npcs out of frame.

Very fun game but a bit confusing at the start ! It's such a funny and fast roguelike, I died so many times but it was more and more fun each time ! The controls are displayed a bit to fast at the beginning I never had the time to read anything since even the menu is timed.

Cool game ! I really like the music and sound design. There is not enough feedback tho, the first time I played I thought I was playing the game wrong. But the random weapon mechanic is very fun !

I LOOOVE THIS GAME, but i suck at it...
Okay I will try to tell why, but it's a bit hard to explain... Like... The fact that there is a max count of lives to beat the boss gives such a tension, I was stressed all the time but also curious of what would come up next, when I saw that the character also changes weapon with time hyped me so much !
And I haven't even talked about the art and the MUSIC ! What a banger of a track !

Peak game ! I was set from the start wuth the menu, it looks sooooo cool, and the gameplay is rad ! Even tho it's hard to start ;-;

Cool concept ! But I think there should have an option to not spawn corpses since sometimes you just did the right layout and die dumbly and rage because you have to start over.

Nice game, but it should have had better explaination on the E and Space keys... By reading the desc I thought they were the same and could not understand why pressing E didn't do anything...

Ok I am actually SHOCKED this game hasn't got more ratings !
This is peak jam content ! I will not state all the qualities I find to this game because I would have not enough characters to write it all !
The only flaw I can find to this game is that ledge control is a bit random, like sometimes i get propulsed into the air and sometimes I just... hop on the ledge.
I hope Shovel will play your game (if not already) !

Lovely game with soothing music (quite strange for a speed based game but refreshing !)
