It would be nice if it could be toggled. I get what you're saying, that's it's a very nice model and you don't get to enjoy it because it's a fetish you don't enjoy. Adding a toggle option would give everyone the best of both worlds, but it's up to the devs at the end of the day.

I think they mentioned you can keep it if you downloaded the game. If you play in browser you’ll lose the save when the game updates
