Seems to take about half a year or so for each update, so if the dev remains consistent and isn't delayed, probably in about two years, give or take.

For the most part, great update.  One quibble:  not a fan of the bowling tournament.  At all.  No gameplay, entirely up to random chance (and the odds aren't great).  Makes one not want to play it at all.

Look at Once in a Lifetime as a template.  The early scenes are sexual encounters without intercourse such as foreplay, oral, etc. but once the sex starts, there's a plethora of it.

I'm guessing Eternum will be the same.  There will be lots of sex, but we're just not there quite yet.  Have patience.  It's building up to the good stuff :)

How was he misleading?  He was asking a question.  Now, if he had posted "hey everyone!  Don't download this game, it has NTR in it!" then it would be misleading.

A simple answer would suffice, rather than biting his head off.

The girl doesn't get raped, dude.  Averted by the main character who heroically saves the day.

SPOILER  The girl in question gets some weird alien juice on her that causes her body to THINK it's going through stages of pregnancy, but thankfully the actual impregnation was stopped.  She basically just has to go through the simulated effects of pregnancy like morning sickness, cravings, irritability, engorged breasts, distended belly, etc.

Basically the substance caused her body to prepare itself for the embryo that never got implanted.

P.S.  NTR, or Netorare, doesn't mean rape.  It means cheating or infidelity.  I see SO many people get that wrong.

They're both false positives.

I feel like there's a story behind this level of vitriol ...

Hint:  RuneyGames is the developer.

"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.  When you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you ..." - Friedrich Nietzsche

While it is understandable to feel moral outrage and a powerful emotional response to the plight and oppression of the elves, retaliation such as you're suggesting would make you far worse than the humans in this story.  Remember that there are good humans as well, ordinary people with ordinary lives, and they'd be caught up in the indiscriminate massacre that you propose.

Seek to right wrongs and injustices, not create far more of them.

P.S.  Keep in mind that you didn't have a problem reaping the benefits of elf/human relations early on.  Lin was your slave from the start, and your first thought wasn't "I must free her at all costs!"  You went into it with the mindset of "oooh, kinky harem simulator!"  Your default state wasn't that of a moral crusader, but an average person.  Suppose someone came along during that point in the story with your current mindset.  Saw that you were a slave owner and instantly declared you to be irredeemably evil.  They then sought to end your life or at the very least ruin it.  You probably wouldn't have appreciated it very much.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a reaction to the story at all.  Instead, temper it with some self-reflection and humility.

If you want to play a completed game by the same author, check out Once In A Lifetime.  It takes place in the same universe as Eternum.  And it's very good.

As Caribdis said, Eternum is still in development, so the story isn't even close to finished yet.

It's not a lot of grinding at all, actually.  As I said, within less than a week and you'll have discipline up to snuff and grades won't decline.  It's simply a matter of priority.  Focus solely on discipline for the first week and the rest of the game will be far, far easier.  The newbie mistake (one I made myself the first time) is trying to spread out focus right off the bat.  That will come once discipline is over 20.

Trust me, once you've done that very easy step, you'll be doing a LOT of punishing.  And it just gets better and better as you go.

If you're having trouble in the beginning, just follow these easy steps:

1.  Focus on raising discipline, to the exclusion of all else.  Get the stat to 20 or higher (30 is a good number to give yourself a bit of a cushion).  Once the stat reaches 20, grades will no longer drop.  Don't worry about grades themselves, as you will build these up gradually as the game unfolds.

- Quickest way to raise discipline in the beginning is to teach classes, then punish the offending girl in front of the class.  This will give you 2 discipline points per class.  Do not punish her after class, as this won't do anything for your scores.  Teach classes twice a day (do NOT teach sports or monitor the halls, just focus on discipline).  Don't worry about popularity or whatever; that will come with time.  If done right, you'll gain 4 discipline per day, and grades will be stabilized by the end of the fourth day or so.

2.  Train Miss Potts at night.  Every time you possibly can, go to Miss Potts' apartment at night and train her to be a better disciplinarian.  Until she has proper training, she'll be a liability as her failure to keep her class in line will cause you to lose 1 or 2 discipline points a day.  Just keep at it and eventually she'll improve to the point where she can more or less keep the class in line.  She'll still occasionally have the odd slip, but the loss will be much more manageable.

Once you meet these two objectives, the game really opens up and gets a LOT easier.  Good luck and have fun!

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not going to take until 2031 for the next update.  So 31st of May it is.

I'll probably check this out once you have more content for Rise (my waifu).

As the creator says, this VN starts out okay but gets better in the later parts.  Haven't finished but so far I'm entertained.  Looking forward to the revised opening.

I will say this:  the story and characterization make WAAAAAY more sense with the incest patch installed.  Even if that's not your cup of tea (I don't particularly mind it myself, YMMV), it still serves the story far better.  Alex and Iris's relationship dynamic fits better, and a major plot hole is explained away perfectly.

Biggest flaw:  this needs more BGM.  A single track on a 20 second loop becomes infuriating after awhile.  I ended up muting the sound because it was driving me crazy.

If we want to go down that road, we could argue that the blonde haired, blue-eyed guy being the villain is "wacist" as well.  Or we could knock it off with the superficial bullshit of defining people solely by their skin color.  Axel and Benjamin are assholes, plain and simple.  There are assholes from all walks of life, just as there are good people.

"I have a dream of a world where a man is judged not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Oh trust me, releasing Stabby Mike pays off big time.  Over and over.  Plus he's pretty much the greatest character ever.
