To be clear: Collective Shout was founded by a Christian conservative. That is the activism we're talking about.
PornHub has been targeted by similar activism. Don't know if it's still the case, but as of Dec 2020, they were no longer allowed to take Visa or MasterCard payments. That whole situation is partly why they only allow uploads from verified accounts now.

In 2021, OnlyFans announced and then reversed a plan to ban sexually explicit content. This was seemingly related to negotiations with payment processors.

Just a month ago, Fansly banned a variety of content. Including furries, intoxicating substances, content filmed in public, hypnosis fetish, etc.
