My apologies if this is a bad place to leave the following, but I didn't see a more relevant post here on itch and I never engage in comments/discussions via my steam account for reasons of privacy.
I've quite enjoyed VVK since I first discovered it (enough so that I bought one version at full price pre-steam then went ahead and got it again once you released it over there), and so I was excited when I came back to the game recently and saw an update on steam suggesting that the game was approaching a final state and that it might well get a follow up. You do great work and the game has been a joy to play over the years. But, I was also a little wary because there are still a few longstanding stray threads here and there which I would very much like to see resolved but have seen no mention of in subsequent updates. In particular, there are two that come to mind immediately.
Domia - Domia came into play before I even discovered the game, there was plenty of buildup around her not wanting to get pregnant, a repeatable wench-type scene in which Karder has a chance to knock her up anyway, and yet for years there has just been a placeholder along the lines of 'Domia cannot be impregnated in this version.
Char - Char was also introduced many, many updates ago and then swiftly captured by Karder, yet there has never been a scene of her getting broken in despite A. a scene of her interrogation in which he makes clear his intentions to do so, B. Multiple scenes in which he sleeps with her girlfriend while discussing their mutual desire for him to do the same with Char, and C. the fact that enough time has passed in game for that girlfriend to get pregnant and carry a child to term.
Now, I understand that you use a design model in which paying supporters get to influence or outright decide which side characters get further scenes and I can get behind that approach, but I also doubt I am alone in my hope that content which was heavily built up within the game itself gets resolved before you finalize this project and move on to another. Now, maybe you're already committed to doing so and just haven't announced as much in any of the updates I've seen in which case I apologize for making a big deal out of nothing, but if not I hope you'll consider the merits of resolving all outstanding storylines/implied future content lest some people who have enjoyed this game lose interest in whatever you choose to follow it up with.
