not click, enter the room. dunno if it has to be a fresh day or if you can leave and re enter on the same day, but I just cycled days until it happened
from what I can tell its a bit of rng in the sandbox. to avoid spoilers I'd say that even behind the blur you should be able to make out a character in a specific outfit. visit their location at the time they wear the outfit and you have a chance to get it, just spam that and it should work
