I don't really know, but I'm guessing most teams here will be mix of jacks of all/many trades. A good thing.

But hypothetically, if a team was composed entirely of specialists, what skills are necessary to make a strong team, at minimum size, in your opinion?

edit: clarity

Not bad! Fun and easy enough to learn to keep me playing. Could use some randomization of where the enemies spawn from, however. I found I could rack up a score of over 250 on level 2 just by camping out and facing the horns toward where the crocs and t-rexes as they emerge. Keep doing this :D

I would be thrilled to participate in this game jam. I have some skills that could be useful to a team.

I am proficient in the use of Blender, capable of modelling sets, props, and characters. I can 3D sculpt, and can rig and animate 3D characters, and know how to apply textures. I have some basic familiarity with Unity, which I have used to create simple experiences in VR. I am also reasonably skilled at drawing, which could be useful for creating 2D games as well as 3D. I also have some ability with GIMP and video editing software well.

My education background is in architecture, industrial design, and sculpture. my completed BFA is in the latter of those three. My experience with programming is minimal, though I've done enough scripting in my time to at least understand how it's done. I've dabbled in varients of C++, most notably Processing. I once created a simple game using this language, for a class I took in art school.

Before the pandemic I was employed as a technician at an escape room, where I built and maintained props and puzzles.

I also do 3D printing, which I know better than to exclude from my list of game-development-relevant skills outright.

Please let me know if you think I could be some degree of an asset! :D

Update: Seems I'm in a team! Catch you in #5...
