You called it. There was a plan to implement the range into a few other mechanics, like different style notes. but as always, the jam crunch claims another feature. Thanks for enjoying it!

Ooooh Im so happy I got to play this. And also infuriated. but also happy while failing to grasp the flipping patterns! This irked me as much as a rubiks cube but at least I got to the end of the story... unlike a rubiks cube. love the art direction, and the game just 'feels' great to control. The only fatal flaw is that its waaaay too short for the concept and quality. I really hope you get a chance to expand on it post jam because ill be watching for it.

Probably the best character model Ive seen so far. the 3D was great and the opening cutscene really set the bar. It reminds me of 2 games. 3D pong during the old Shockwave (Macromedia flash precursor) and Space Squash for the virtual boy. The only issue I had was the depth perception. I wish that the ball changed colours as it flew and had a shadow cast on the backdrop. maybe blue away, red towards, and green if its within reflector distance. Over all a great interpretation of the theme. I'll play it again later

The best part is definitely the opening cut scene. A lot of simple love went into it and set up the gameplay well. The gameplay however, Im one part not sure what the objective was, I assume hit the rings for speed, and then the bowling scene comes up and everyone shuffles to the side. I knocked down the same amount of enemies every single replay without actually touching anything. Not sure if this is a glitch or a misunderstanding on my part. Anyways, love the narrative for sure!

Definitely feels right out of win95 in a lot of ways. But I am weary about if it was made with this game jam in mind. I didnt see any 'blocks' or furry-ness other than than the corner avatar which seemed out of place. At the end scene fit into the dream state. interesting experience over all at the very least

This truly is a full fledged game! definitely a parody of the source material but with a nice enough spin to create its own identity. I ended up playing it all the way to the end. Some of the fail checks seemed off, like I had no idea why the documents were not right. Maybe it was the 'not quite the same as the picture' clause and thats on me for being face blind. Looking forward to future jams from your team!

oooh a dangerous direction to take with a game jam. it certainly felt like it was unplayable at first. but I pressed on because I definitely live for the player vs narrator type games. I'd love to see this expanded into a full fledged adventure. I got to the mouse glitch ending and Im hoping I didnt miss anything beyond that.

I say the best thing going for this game is the -vibes-. It just makes me happy to experience it. however I kept feeling like my fingers were tied trying to control it. 45 degrees on a keyboard is tough. I physically turned on my board to make it work better. It also took me a while to realize you cant collect all of the bugs, only the ones that match your colour. So I wasted time going after and failing to pick up others until it clicked. Over all, a nice concept and a happy little game. well done everyone!

O actually. O good, X wrong

Ya the interface isn't great. Wish i had more time to design a solid one. Basically left A is heads, right A is tails

Yep legitimately a n nes game. Can be loaded on a cart with an mmc1 chipset and played on the real console. Though i fear it might crash at one point cause even the emulator acted scared and jittery haha

Ya its low odds. For those who know coin flipping odds. Nes hard
