Thank you sooo so much for your feedback!! There are 8 variations plus the base Fren c: 
A Fren dies when he's at zero happiness for over a minute (you can increase the stat by either petting him once or by playing a game perfectly). Another way he could die would be the 'good ending' (when you max his exp 3 times), which is by far the saddest scene I've ever had to draw :((

Glad you liked it! :) It appears that the portal in level 3 stays invisible for some reason (it didn't during play testing). Try going for the platform below  the last squirrel, if you want to see the final boss fight ;)

I had so much trouble reaching the summit as well, Neku had way more endurance for playtesting than I did :D
We were confused by Max's bugged boost mechanic as well until the very end. Still I hope you had fun playing anyways c:
We could design a few more levels after the Jam ends and lower the difficulty (and fix some bugs ofc)

Aaaa thank you so much!! Unfortunately, Max's hitbox had some issues with the edges that were difficult to identify in the short time we had left :( We're super glad you liked it anyway (even when the mechanic wasn't working right haha)

Thank you so much for the kind feedback! c: We've had our fair share of frustration and anger while playtesting as well haha. Sadly, there are some detection issues with Max's hitbox when he latches onto an edge and we couldn't fix them in time. I hope you still had fun though! :)
