very much so, I’m afraid. I’ll have to think of a way to quickly bring the player up to speed on what they can do and how. As a soloist in the game jam, I could only afford to make it playable at the sacrifice of usable. I blame the theme since there isn’t anything simple about revisions. Thanks for the feedback!

  1. HOTFIX to Society_EXE (Mac, Windows coming soon) Version 004 should fix the Password validation issue so that players don't have to blunt force passwords
  2. [3:24 PM]Windows version now up too

Windows version up. I haven't tested it (using a Mac). So let me know if you have issues :)

003 now let's you send Waste to Billionaires from Work. If you are interested in that kind of thing.

And remember to try the password more than once. Some bug makes it not take immediately.

Because this is a systems game with lots of parts that the player is given the power to change, there are likely bugs. And yeah, the platforming is really hard so at least you have a DOUBLE-JUMP!

My Mac can't support a decent framerate, but I uploaded a Mac version if anyone wants to give it a shot. If you do play the mac one, let me know how your framerate is. I can't tell if it's my old machine or the game.

Seems simple and I love the topic. Excellent.

Web version will not work. I've never had luck with web so history is on repeat.

Re-uploaded what I think is the current build for Windows (about an hour ago). Let me know if you see any really glaring bugs, and also there are bugs. Working on Web and Mac versions now too.

Excellent artwork. I didn't quite get the hang of the jumping powers but I'll give it more practice.

Same. And can you share a zip of all the files so I can download in one go. I'm guessing I run main.py with Python. I should be able to try but I forget if my windows computer has python installed.

Thank you for the feedback. The bug with the slices staying on screen should be gone for the most part. But I ran out of time to squish all bugs and include instructions or even a win state. I have ideas of scoring how well you hit the weak points and time but that became out of scope as the sun came up.
