Hi ! You can check several things:
- Check if your 3D Viewport have "Backface Culling" enabled. It's in the Shading Options, in the 3D Viewport (the 4 little balls for Wireframe, Solid, Material, Render).
- Outlines render best in Material Mode. Solid Mode need a specific setup for getting something "ok" but it'll never beat the Material Mode.
- Make sure your mesh normals are correct. In Edit Mode, select all faces and use Mesh > Normals > Recalculate Outside.
