I managed to play every single game submitted to the jam and left feedback for nearly every developer.

First of all, huge thanks to everyone who participated! It was really fun seeing so many different interpretations of the Hide & Seek theme. Even the unfinished projects had interesting ideas worth exploring.

My personal Top 4:

🥇 Operation Cover-Up

A brilliant twist on the theme: instead of solving crimes, you're hiding the evidence. Fantastic music, and the whole game feels surprisingly polished.

🥈 Seek the Thief

Clever use of surveillance cameras, crowds with unique NPC behaviors, and a really smart take on the theme.

🥉 Blindsight

One of the most original ideas in the jam. Using a camera flash to reveal the world around you made for a fresh and memorable experience.

Robbers and Cops!

Way more fun than I expected. I even kept driving around after collecting every coin just because the soundtrack was so good.

These are just my personal favorites—there were plenty of other games with awesome ideas and memorable moments.

What were your favorites?

Thanks! Yes, the layout is procedural. Every run has a different wall layout, props, and NPC positions. I had planned unique quirks, animations, and sounds for every NPC, including the Blondie, but I ran out of jam time before I could finish them all.

Thanks! I'm really happy you enjoyed it. I appreciate you taking the time to play!

Fun idea! I feel like a mall security guard after playing this) The difficulty options are a nice touch. Great interpretation of the jam theme!

I was confidently clicking just mostly on the wrong things)

I didn't expect pretending to be a box, but here we are. Nice mechanics and the building cutaway effect looks really cool!

I learned two things: reading clues is important, and I shouldn't become a detective)))

Really clever take on the theme! I spent more time watching people dance than catching the thief. I never found the thief. Mission failed successfully)))

Thanks for taking the time to play and for the kind words!

Fun game! I managed to grab two fuel barrels before the giant robot finally remembered it had perfect aim)))

Cool concept! I love the idea of a goblin family where everyone has their own job. Every family needs a smart one, a strong one and apparently a tiny one too)))

The flashlight battery was hunting me))) Fun idea! I kept thinking "just one more run"... and suddenly I had played way longer than expected )))

GTA taught me to collect glowing things without asking questions, so I did))) The police definitely deserve a raise they caught me almost immediately. Cool idea!

I escaped with 0 loot - technically a successful heist))) Nice idea!

Cute hamster, terrifying consequences) I really liked the sound mechanic and how every squeak matters. I just wished I could look around corners before risking another squeak. Great job!

Cozy atmosphere! I inspected every suspicious bush. My E key deserves a salary after this adventure)))

Fun concept! Either I'm the worst ghost hunter ever, or these ghosts deserve an award for hiding. I vacuumed half the house and started wondering if the ghosts had already moved out))) Loved the shaking animation though!

I think my boss found me faster than my actual boss would))) Fun idea! The hiding mechanic took me a while to understand, but the office theme fits the jam really well.

I spent more time questioning my own memory than looking for anomalies))) Cool concept, though the long corridor makes the first few runs a bit rough.

I came to hunt gnomes. The camera hunted me instead. I liked the leaning movement - it feels surprisingly satisfying. Fun concept!

Thanks! Glad you had fun, and I'm happy the tension worked for you!

Poor delivery robot never stood a chance)) Fun idea! The landlord was way faster than me, and I couldn't figure out where to deliver the pizza. Also managed to keep walking after Game Over) Nice concept though!

I never expected to chase a suspicious tree stump through the streets. Fun idea and a great take on the theme! The only thing I'd tweak is lowering the default mouse sensitivity a bit - it felt a little too fast for me.

Haha, sorry, I should've been clearer. I didn't actually fall through the map. I just noticed that by moving the mouse I could tilt the camera enough to peek underneath the level.

Really charming atmosphere! I loved the menu animation and the calm night vibe. Also, I kept throwing the star too early - those dwarfs are sneakier than they look)

Fun atmosphere! I struggled to understand how to fight the ghost, but I enjoyed the spooky amusement park setting. I think the ghost and I played different games)))

I wasn't expecting to lose a game of hide and seek against myself))) Fun little experience!

Great pirate atmosphere! The music is fantastic. Unfortunately, I'm a terrible sailor, so my ship mostly rotated in place, but maybe that's because I'd make an awful pirate.

Had way more fun than I expected. The car sandwiches with police and fire trucks made me laugh. The music kept me driving even after collecting every coin. Also stacked police cars are a feature, not a bug. I accidentally discovered the underground world beneath the map. Nice secret! I came to rob, somehow ended up donating everything to orphans. Great job!

I never thought barking gingerbread people would become my navigation system. Fun little game!

Fun little digging game! I kept smashing the ground like there was treasure everywhere. Nice take on the theme!

Really cool soundtrack! I got a bit lost because enemies and obstacles blended together, but the overall vibe was unique. Nice job!

My ship definitely had a better sense of direction than I did)) Thanks for the adventure!

Nice concept! Every object became a suspect. Mission failed)

I read the description, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to actually play the game. The concept is incredibly creative though, and operating a space whale's circulatory system is definitely one of the wildest ideas in this jam.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you had fun. I wanted to make a simple but funny take on the prop hiding idea. Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad the cola and burp made you laugh! Thanks for the feedback about the camera shake too - I'll definitely tone it down in future updates.

The menu feels surprisingly polished! I got a little lost once the gameplay started, but I enjoyed the visuals and soundtrack. Good job!

I escaped justice by achieving maximum trash camouflage) Fun concept!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it) The game is still pretty rough, so I'm really happy you had fun with it!
