It's an issue with 7zip I wasn't aware of. Unfortunately, to get it to work you have to extract it with 7zip or winrar. I've fixed the issue but I'm not able to upload it until after the jam.

Yeah, one of the people on our team couldn't either but we assumed it was an issue with his computer. Turns out I zipped it weird. It should work if you extract it with 7zip or winrar, my apologies. I've corrected the issue but I'm not able to upload the fixed version until after the jam.

While I agree with you in principle, that's an incredibly unrealistic standard for both consumers and especially developers. Steam is the best place to go to make money for your games, thus it is the best place to go to find good games (not to mention heaps of bad ones, but that's par for the course). Plus, valve is hardly the worst company out there worth taking a stand against.
