A fun and thematic twist on polybridge-style building! It's a whole other challenge when your build has to follow the moving car, suddenly needing to take balance and impacts into consideration. Not the most summery or lying instructions, but all in all the gameplay felt seamless and funky. Had a lot of fun. Worth pursuing further!

For the limitation that the directions should be confusing and unreliable, you certainly succeeded on that haha!

The vibes are summery, and I definitely buy your pitch of keeping cool with the right drink.

It's hard to tell if it's being glitchy or if I just have bad luck with potions, because 75% of the time I get 3 identical bottle shapes instead of different ones. One might be different in size, but none in shape, and it has seemingly no impact on the points.

With repeated trial and error, I've noticed what seems to be a repeating pattern at some points, not in bottles but in position, which let me get up to 5-6 points semi-reliably. That said, it's hard to tell whether that's a true pattern or a good run with the randomiser. If it is a pattern, I'd like there to be some hint of that somewhere. I tried scanning the background image for clues but couldn't conclude anything from it.

Thanks for making the game!

Great stuff! Not sure if it's specific to my game but all the spawned bombs roll off the pier in a fairly consistent way, so I opted to throw clam chowder from the spawn straight at that location until I had enough to buy the next auto fisher or upgrade.

If I was to point at anything, the cool blue colours don't feel particularly summery to me.

Strong sense of progression, fun incrementation of piers and fish. Ended with 1.4 million points in flying sandwiches, and while I wrote this up it's risen to 2.3 million!

Well done!

I also opened it in firefox and didn't see anything, so then I started it up in Chrome instead. After I was done playing, I went back to Firefox to rate the game and noticed the game had actually loaded. So it does seem to work in FF, but loads very slowly!

Thank you Pixachu! We're delighted you had fun!

Thanks for checking the game out!
We've realised that in the launch rush, we missed noting down the credits for each individual sound file onto itch. I want to honour the submission deadline and not edit anything (even just the description) until the game jam's voting process is over. So until then, I'll post them in this comment.

Without further ado, here are all the individual sound effect resources used:
