Sorry to say that due to a lot of irresponsible client, i'd preferably have the payment done before i do any work. However i do have a solution for big projects involving big money.
1. Split the request into several batch for cheaper part by part pay
2. Use commissioning sites for safety, such as mine here on A&C: https://artistsnclients.com/people/anceart
3. Split payment is acceptable, however some people tend to cheat on this also in order to pay half of what it supposed to be, therefore i wont give non-watermarked art before the last payment is done, and any use of the unpaid materials is unacceptable

Base price for digital use:
- 15$ per character art
- 30$ per refsheet (2 fullbody 2 headshot)
- 25$ for full art with bg
Base price for printed materials (300-350dpi)
-30$ per character additional 20$ per added character
-10$ additional bg in character art or 30$ for full scenery bg
-15$ to 25$ for chibi merchandise for print purpose (keychain. mugs, etc)
Base price for design
-50$ per logo
-30$ per merchandise design
