Congrats on 2nd place! Well deserved, this game really stood out imo! :D

Now that was super cozy :) what a nice way to finish the rating period - thank you!

Very well designed! Consistent aesthetic, simple UI, sitting peacefully in the corner. I really appreciate the ethos behind it. That said I wouldn't consider it a game, and in a play test I didn't observe anything interesting happen (the root never grew for me after lots of short iterations).

Clearly a lot of care has gone into this and it's great for it's use case, I'd love to see how it matures - keep it up!

Nailed cozy and relaxing - good vibes. I love the DJ too, good work!

Incredible level of polish! Beautiful game, and the ambience with the bird song was very relaxing. I liked the creativivity of the movement mechanics too - the game loosely reminds me of Mario 64. Only got 1 star, I'll be back to collect the rest later :D

Thank you, glad you liked the art! Yeah definitely strayed from relaxing haha, I'll have to think about how I could keep it engaging without a timer being the driving motivation.

Thanks for playing! Absolutely agree, seems to be a common consensus. I do wonder if it needs reduced speed, bigger collision, or maybe even latency on the collision area vs the graphic? I've got a lot of game design to learn :)

Good fun, I've never played Baba Is You, maybe I should check that out now too. Either way, very cool to see the mechanic re-implemented, and I liked the handrawn art and vibe, nice job :)

So creative, and looks amazing! Nice work :)

I had fun playing this, although I don't think I finished it? I filled in the data I suspected on the clipboard but clicking check never gave any feedback. I assume I was wrong?

Very realistic, I kept killing my plant. Loved the pixel art and general ambience.

Thank you very much! Agreed, they'd probably benefit from an oversized hitbox or falling slightly slower.

Just beautiful, no notes

It's fun, but like the others said, way too hard. And not necessarily in a fun way, but in a questionable hit box, hard to see way (talking about the vines). Good potential though, I think a few tweaks would go a long way!

Really well put together! Looks great, very helpful tutorial and progression for each level, last level geniunely took me some time, nice work.

Doesn't seem to be scaling properly - I can only see the top left corner of the start page.

EDIT: Got it working with the zoom trick, worth it for the gameplay

Great take on roots! Love the art style and good replayability. I reckon you could get away without resetting the 3 lives for each generation as atm it's very forgiving and hard to lose.

Ok I think my own highscore is 270

Good fun, I loved all the pumpkins and their goofy noises! Ended with some ~1300 leaves.

Thank you for playing! I found the exact same and would try planting left to right, interesting to see I'm not alone. Adding some sort of visual indicator crossed my mind but being blind meant you had to be more more mindful of where you placed resources, which added a nice dynamic to what's otherwise a very basic game.

Very atmospheric! I liked the wind and rain effects with the music. Not sure if it was my resolution but the leaf was very blurry, broke the immersion a little given it was the focal point.

1am on a Monday, up for work in 6 hours, but I'll be damned if I aint blowing some leaves
