i like it, i can see it getting more complicated in mechanics. one trick i figured out is after scanning a guy, click on the guy to start walking to him while scrolling through to change appearance. saves a bit of time compared to scanning, then changing, then walking.

I've been trying to play Cave Story for years attempting the final cave and bosses. One summer I'd go to the library of my college with a flash drive of the freeware game and spend some time each day. Only just this month I was able to finally beat blood stained sanctuary and defeat Ballos. and then i stumble on this nice piece of work. The writing here is certainly ringing true. It is nice.

i remember reading the grim intro to this game a few years ago, and i cant stop thinking about it to this day. most isekais skip over the death part, but here our boy is wasting away for 3 years in a hospital bed both regretting his situation and still proud for having saved someone.
