Idk why but I resonate with the deer so much. I think his walk cycle is really pleasing to look at. I also like how the mushrooms are jump boosts.

I think a few animations can be added to make the movement more dynamic. Like jump animations or hurt animations.

I love the color palette used. The design is captivating. I love the way the "more" button works. I think the pace of the zombies is appropriate. The assets also look really nice.

I would recommend making the joysticks a little bit smaller because they take up a lot of the screen.

I love how the enemies glitch! It really drives the theme home. I also just think the idea is cool (and kind of funny because game programming has its bugs and glitches). I think the controls are pretty straightforward and work well.
Two things to note: 1, the background in the mini-game is a little jarring. Also, I think the enemies could have variations (either different attacks or do different amounts of damage).

I love the movement, it feels spacey. I think the UI looks very polished.

I would suggest different/more detailed backgrounds and perhaps adding powerups.

It's amazing how it is a pixelated art style but it is still very detailed. I love the integration of mini-games; it makes the whole experience more dynamic. Also, just the amount of different ways you can play makes it fun, too.

The only thing I think could improve is the way the text looks. Sometimes the background makes it a bit hard to read.

Also, maybe you can add some animations.

The art looks amazing! The variation and level of detail are mind-blowing. I love the way the seagull walks! Looks very clean. Also, the map is really well made and helps gameplay along.

One criticism is certain borders have rounded edges while some are square so I would suggest being more consistent with that.

Maybe in the future, if you develop further you can add more characters to play as!

The art is overall so well done but I especially love the color palette and lighting chosen! Something about the purplish-pink has the right degree of ominous. It's also a great contrast to the dark color of the ninja.

The only thing I would say could use improvement is the story. I wanna know why I, a ninja, am fighting robots in a city.

I love the sly expression on the character's face.  I love how smooth the movement is as well (even on the reset, teleporting the character to the checkpoint, or the checkpoint itself spinning!)

The only thing I would suggest is adding details to the foreground and background. Perhaps some shadowing?

Your game is so cute! There is a good amount of detail on both the main character and the objects placed throughout. The story is entertaining (and kinda progressive).

I would recommend using a tilemap so the sprites for ur platforms get really stretched.

I can only imagine the work that was put into the art for this game; it looks amazing. The movement is smooth. To enhance the experience, I would recommend making the text in the corner larger and perhaps putting a background behind it (as opposed to using a bright color that contrasts the game).

The animations were adorable! The overall idea was captivating, I just wish it came through a bit more. Perhaps adding platforms that matched a bit more.

The concept is so well thought out. The use of inspiration is really tasteful. Each scene's setting feels really developed, down to the lighting. The shooting aspect in the anger scene is super satisfying. One thing I would note is that the anxiety scene does not feel too much like a store/mall. I think it's just due to the fact that stores are often brighter, though. Overall, great job.

Wow. This looks amazing. I love the player model, the floor design, the music, and the teleportation. This game is very beautiful. One thing I would recommend is to make the text larger.

(1 edit)

This game was too cute. I like how like frantic it made me oddly enough? It was giving diner dash. The only thing I would recommend is a more detailed player model.

Such a good game but it was very challenging. I would suggest more checkpoints. I really liked your use of sound. I felt it added a sense of anxiety to the game in a good way.

Loved this game! The camera angle was really good. I felt like the mini-games were challenging but doable. You guys had a lot of assets but it wasn't overwhelming. The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding a bit more color? It lacks a bit of vibrancy.

The music was so good! It matched level 1 really well.  I think the assets chosen were really nice too. The improvements I would suggest making the edge of the world a little less obvious on level 1 and making it a bit more apparent on level 2. Also, I would make the levels match a bit more. Perhaps taking assets from 1 and using them in 2? Or adding characters from 2 into 1.

The name is really cute! I like how the character is a little floaty~ gives it a magical aspect. In one part on level 2, I got into a cave and got lost and wasn't sure where to go from there. I'm not sure if this is like a bug or I was just supposed to find the way out.

Your game looks so good! I love the animation, I think it gives the character

personality. Overall it was pretty smooth to play and non-gamer friendly.

I noticed my character got stretched on level 3 and I'm not sure why. It made me too tall to jump.
