There's something I've been wondering since the first chapter.
Some of the information about the fairy, how she would be serving as a magic filter to indirectly provide Scout with power without transforming her into a fairy herself, seemed interestingly worded.
Is the fairy still alive in Scout's stomach? Is that what's going on?
(I'm hoping the answer is yes).
