I Love the aesthetic. The animations are also quite good. I spent so much time on my coding, I ran out of time to animate my critters and make music.

As for the menu, do you mean the main menu?
I suppose all of them are the same concept.
It's just a single control node to anchor labels and sprites to. The fonts are from google fonts and are put at a large size then scaled down to get rid of any pixelation.

The rest after that is just creative intuition on the layout.
