I'll save you the pain, it happens in the couple days after you first go into that event, you have to walk into Emily's room specifically when it's happening or you miss it, I didn't find a way to do it other that rewinding, doing the events, and constantly checking the room every time I went forward in time

As another developer myself, some golden advice: do not overscope the project
It's admirable to want to make a project that meets your dream standards, but there is a point at which you should decide to finish up what you have :)
The game (with just the supposed prologue) already feels like what a lot of H-games would consider a full experience, the quantity of scenes already exceeds most as well.
Sometimes it's better to make a good finished product than to drag things out :D
Ofcourse, fully up to you, we're all waiting with great expectations which I'm sure you'll live up to, good luck!
