man i thought this would be my least favorite because aliens are just not usually my cup of tea but rholm the sweetheart who literally found a translator for us (i might cry and i just want to give him a big hug) and mary the nerd, they made me feel so soft and fuzzy and i kept saying aw every two seconds. but hmm it still drops down a bit on my list because time stuff is also usually not really my cup of tea but that’s obviously just a personal preference.

oh yeah this one is the one. i can feel it in my bones. (i still have lost to time left to read but im too hooked to this one already but might be surprised)

edit: so my tentative ranking of the 5 are like this:

Lab Rat, Moonlight Protocol, Daddy was a Killer, Lost to Time but it’s a close thing with DWAK maybe, and then finally The Howl.

To be quite honest though, I just adore your writing anyways and would love to eventually read anything you put out. Your love interests are always so compelling. Winter and Rholm stood out to me the most 🥹 and this is as someone who doesn’t usually go for the gentle types but you always have a way to make me pick the gentle ones. AHEM OSWIN AHEM. (unrelated but i would give my life for that man)

the auto driver sequence was hilarious 😭 i especially like this idea because of how unique and different it feels and how uniquely it’s done too. the way you wrote the android perceiving emotions and that part where rapid code pops up as part of the check-up was so new, i enjoyed it a lot just on account of it being different. similarly to what another commenter has said, it only gives me pause because you said it’s not enjoyable for you and i feel like that kind of thing eventually shows and also leads to unnecessary burnout which we absolutely don’t want for you of course!

edit: i also found one of the two hidden choices! hehe :)

i LOVED the session with the therapist and the way it was written. it was definitely my favorite part of the whole thing and that room being a shield from the outside world and the problems feeling more manageable inside it part was so wonderfully done i think. usually mental health stuff can get really heavy and deep but i think you handled it super well and i just have an itch for it to be explored more and see more of it. i would love to go on this journey to get better with this mc very much.

edit: i do think the second half of the game dragged it down for me a little on the ranking scale because the whole police guy part just felt a little cartoonish almost? and then so did the confrontation bit with the helmet guy after? it generally gave off a goofy vibe that im not sure i enjoyed as much.
