The game looks really cute, and I liked the pixel-style characters!
That said, the game world felt a bit too large — the characters were quite small in comparison, which made them hard to see, especially with so much empty background space.
I also experienced some lag during the fights, particularly when I got cornered and I had to restart the game. The spacebar fighting mechanic didn’t always register my hits, so not all attacks seemed to land.
Really cute concept and lovely colors! For the next game, I’d recommend making sure that vertical movement in 2D is restricted—it felt a bit odd being able to move up and down freely.
Unfortunately, after the groceries question, the granny bugged out and started spinning like crazy, so I wasn’t able to finish the game. :(
Bonus star for the unexpected (and slightly cursed) bugging pee sound effects 😂
I loved the platformer game — the dreamy vibe and the color palette were amazing!
But!! I spent 20 minutes trying to complete the final round… and I couldn't. I was short by 0.2 freaking seconds, even though I had mastered the level and nailed all my moves. 😭
My friend tried playing on the desktop version and discovered that the character moves much faster there than in the browser version. (I'm heartbroken.)
Still, I really enjoyed the game—great work!
P.S. Was the E interaction really necessary? Maybe the object could just be movable by the character without pressing a key?
