Ah, so if Braun isn't President (and we have SOMEHOW kept Hindenburg from his Bruning-Papen-Schleicher-Hitler path to Fascism), there will be a new election?  The only way I've been able to get past January 1933 is to win the Election for Braun and to appoint Breitscheid and use my good relations with the KPD to survive the no-confidence vote.

After that, it's a two years of trying to improve things and then it's all over when Hindenburg goes.  A pity, I was looking forward to getting past the economic crisis, eliminating the Nazi threat, and winning elections either on my own or in Weimar coalition or Popular Front.

There are literally dozens of Achievements I've yet to attain; are those all supposed to happen before 1934?  I see graphics in this thread with much later dates listed.

The game stopped for me when Hindenburg died…are there conditions that allow it to continue?  (I'm on Normal mode.)

It shows in April 1930.  Presumably it has something to with the strength of the Nazis, even though this last time I named the bourgeios parties as my enemies, instead.

I can't even come close.  My "best" is getting to January 1933 before Hitler is appointed and being able to enter a prolonged civil war.

DOZENS of failures, including the one time I tried "easy".  Very sad, especially given that apparently a lot of people are succeeding in a lot of different ways.
