Yeah sorry about that, I did this because when thinking about the coin press I was like "wait then how would anyone be able to tell fake coins from real?" and then I realized that I should make it so special enchanted coin presses are a thing (Sort of like microprinting for USD dollars to ensure they are real), but yeah, that coin press is 100% just for show mostly for lore reasons to make it so there is a reason to why you can't simply make a mold of a coin to just make many more normally. (Honestly, this may have just been a silly thing, but in my opinion, small details like this can sometimes help make an in-game or story world feel more lively)

Okay this is on me since I went back to check something regarding the coin press, but you should have been able to craft gold coins with the bars when obtaining it, however, it would appear that I forgot to actually add learning the recipe to the script (Which I will have fixed next update). Funny thing about it is that it doesn't actually do anything as it was meant to give off the illusion that it did via the recipe for gold coins (So like you obtain the item and the game was meant to make you learn the recipe to make the gold coins so you think you are using the gold press when you really aren't if that makes sense). I actually made it based off of your earlier recommendations to be able to use gold bars to make into flow gold fabric, but since the plugin doesn't allow for alternate crafting recipes, this was what I came up with instead. (I will add the recipe to the debug crystal as always)
I probably won't do another vore event kind of thing since that would mean I would have to go back and do it for each character again (Unless it is contained to just a few characters, which in that case maybe I will). However, I do plan on doing more cafe type events in chapter 4 (Dessert area). Right now I plan on maybe letting Leon and his friends experience going to the club in that one, but that is subject to change (in the original game before the remake, I did have an arena type thing made). Now I am not too sure how far I will take this just yet, but I do plan on letting Leon and maybe his friends participate in some games with the otters when it comes time to do their settlement (which could be a while depending on which settlement wins the vote on Patreon).
1 - I didn't plan on it, but I can add that as an option! The only downside is that it won't be able to trigger the potential learning chances from other monsters.
Edit: Never mind, he can still learn from other monsters due to the way I made his training event!
2 - Ah! Great idea, I didn't think about that. Although I am not sure if the plug-in I am using for crafting allows for alternate recipes without making a whole separate one.
3 - I can modify his shop to have those! I may leave a few items out for certain reasons, but I can definitely do that.
Okay, after a lot of looking around in the many different states (effects). I have one last different idea on what it could possibly be.
I think it is drowning. The reason is because you claimed Ace and Luca fell. However, Ace was the only one affected (This makes me think it is drowning because Luca is immune to it unlike Ace). While it could be poison, you would see the icon for poison (looks like green gas). However, you said that purify did not work, I realized it could not be the poison effect like I suspected the most.
What I actually think it is after looking deeper into this, is that within RPG Maker, usually having the "resist (insert state)" tag makes it so it is impossible to obtain that state. I was under the impression that if I added that tag to the water breathing state, that it would simply auto-remove the state. However, it does not do that, it just makes it impossible to have it re-applied (so if you already were drowning, but have water breathing, you would still have it, but would not be able to get it again). The reason why this state wouldn't appear is because the drowning and water breathing share the same icon (I will change it in this next update to something else since I don't know why I thought that was a good idea when making this system). So what I am going to do is make it so the potion will also remove the drowning state since I am now aware that resist doesn't get rid of it (In the next update). In the next update, I would like it if you could test this again to see if I am correct. Thank you for your patience as I have now learned something new (Thankfully this was the only state I did this resist thing on so it is a very easy fix, shame finding it wasn't as easy)!
Few questions regarding the poisoning thing.
1 - Does it only happen with the parasites?
2 - Does the purify spell dispel the damage over time thing? (Lotus, Ginseng, and White Tiger has it)
3 - Is there anything specific that you or the enemy does before the poison occurs?
4 - I checked Rei And Gillino, and nothing seems to be up with them. Who was the other person on your party? (If Otter or Carp (during quest) was also there, then let me know)
5 - Is this happening with Leon too?
6 - Would you happen to have the Shard of Melancholy equipped on someone? (Not sure if you defeated the new super boss yet) Since when equipped it slowly drains your HP and MP.
Sorry for all of the trouble I am putting you through with this damage over time thing, I am unsure of what it could possibly be. Since I double checked any new states or moves I used and they are all normal and I am unsure why it happens with the parasite. I hope at least one of these questions answers what is going on or at least helps me single other options out.
I will take a look at the possibilities of what this damage effect could be.
Ohhhhh! I think I misunderstood that last part in the first message, I will fix that error!
Got it, I will take a look at that. I am aware of the rain effects sticking around underwater, but I didn't notice the water effects did when returning to land.
1 - I will have that fixed!
2 - I will also have that fixed. I mixed a few switches (conditions) up with those ones. I thought I fixed them the first time around, but I guess not.
3 - I will turn up the odds of them using it since I was also having a hard time getting one to trigger once.
Edit: The player will have to fight regardless of getting all three boxes, this boss is just messing with you and wasn't actually planning on letting you leave alive. That is why I left a crystal around the exit in case if the player cannot beat them or gets stuck. Getting the boxes just determines if you fight them enraged or not.
4 - Honestly, I have no idea why RPG Maker does this with these tiles in specific despite setting them as unwalkable. (I to fix that I am going to place invisible barriers using events like I did in the second chapters super boss dungeon with the puzzles and the altars since they had the same issue)
5 - As far as I am aware, the damage shouldn't be a thing from the new revival spell. It may however be one of two things (maybe both) which is that if you are fighting in the water, if an ally that isn't aquatic (or has no lungs like the gold monsters to drown with) then you will need to reapply the water breathing potion or else they start to drown which could cause that damage, the other possibility is that the parasite enemy has a chance to poison you with each attack. (I think it may be one of those since you claim to be fighting parasites, which means you are underwater and could be drowning. To get rid of the drowning effect all you need to do is reapply to water potion. If it persists, then I will take another look and make more guesses as to what it could be).
Edit: Fixed in the next update, since I started on the next one.
That does sound like a cool idea! I will maybe start making early plans to implement this idea. Perhaps maybe I can make a special time for Leon's home when using the bed where each monster can ask Leon for a quest to get their own space or if their quest is already done, will simply be around somewhere in the house and maybe interact with other monsters. (Based on the size of my current idea, this would probably be its own update or maybe something I do on the side of each update)
Ohhhh! Yeah, that does seem like a cool idea to have that be a thing! Although I am going to need to plan out how I want to do that since simply making buildings and stuff appear out of nowhere for a monster is a hard since RPG Maker uses set maps and I can't simply make it so if a certain switch/condition is triggered then a specific part of the map appears and making separate maps for each combination of every monster guy is out of the question for obvious reasons. If RPG Maker had a better way then the gold monsters temporary home would not look nearly as bad as it does now. Maybe what I could do is make like a little spot in the back of Leon's home that can take him to a camp for each monster guy (sort of like the falcon settlement maybe). This is probably going to be much later down the line if I do decide to do this.
Edit: The thought of all monsters just piling all on top of Leon during night a bit funny.
1. Yes, but in the next update the carp monster will be recruitable.
2. Possibly, not sure how I would go about that yet. (Possible idea that just came to mind is maybe bringing back Asher's basement expansion concept from the original game, just maybe not made by Asher if you get what I mean)
3. Not yet, that is a whole quest (that is sort of like the rebuilding of the snake den, but with different requirements and stuff).
I wasn't planning on doing that, but now that you mention that, I do think that would be a great idea! I am unsure how I would want to include them, but I do have a slight idea that popped into mind as I write this!
Edit: I came up with an idea and I am going to go with it since I am still waiting on those sprites! Soooo your idea will be added now while I am still waiting for them!
Ah got it, thanks for telling me!
The statue is probably due to the fact that I mixed tileset and forgot to set if it was walkable or not which is thankfully a super easy fix.
Not sure what was going on with the debug crystal, but I simply deleted the original Slithero section and replaced it and it seems to work now.
Whoops, I will have that fixed!
I was told that some sprites for the bear monster and olive's warrior costume should be ready later today so I will have the update out later!
You can get it on my Patreon (Which should be linked near the bottom of the front page and will cost 5$ to play, 3$ is just for donations and name in credits), right now the game is still in early access and as of right now, chapter 3 is in development with chapter 2 being finished. Just keep in mind that many scenes are missing in the Patreon version and are still being made, but in terms of story and gameplay everything is all good (Of course, up until chapter 3 which is still in development). If you would like to, you could wait for the public release of the demo which will only go up to chapter 1!
Edit: I am also still working on figuring out how to allow the game to be played on mobile, so if you only have a mobile device, then I would advise against getting the Patreon version.
Sorry for the late response, something came up.
Fleche is not supposed to lose MP, although after checking both the state and the common event that grants the passive, I am not too sure why Fleche would have Leon's passive still. One thing that does come to mind as a possibility is that since passives don't actually disappear until the state is removed (There is a common event that checks to see if a passive is active at the start of every turn and applies the passive if the requirements are met) either by death or resting (In Leon's bed, not any others since Leon's bed does a full refresh that removes all negative and positive states), that could possibly be why Fleche is still be affected by it.
Short answer without deeper explanation: Not sure why Fleche is getting Leon's passive, but I suspect that Fleche never died or you never rested in Leon's bed. Try doing both of those and see if that works!
If you completed the True Falcon quest, then Fleche still gets an extra turn passive as the reward for finishing his quest.
Also for the seaweed guy, turns out the odds were 0 because I messed up the random number picker X_X (What happened is that I pressed 5 instead of 6 when putting the values for encounter chances as it should be 1/6, but due to this it was 1/5, but without 6, then it was impossible to get the seaweed guy to spawn...) I will have this fixed in the next update (So sorry!)...
Thanks for telling me about the bear pelt armor!
During the time you most likely recruited Gillino, I had a slight typo in his character data and had it set to 50 instead of 10. So those skills are probably from the 40-50 range that he missed from when I updated the level cap for skills to 40-50. I am assuming the level 40-50ish skills are the ones you are talking about since he was already level 50 due to a glitch awhile ago.
Do you have the incubus recruited? I had it set so you can only use certain beds relating to the monsters after you recruited them and I am seeing no errors on the event/script.
Edit: Never mind, I see what was wrong with the incubus bed. I will have it fixed in the next update!
It has been a while since I touched this Demo (in fact I lost the original files due to my old laptop breaking last month), but I remember trying to make this work as an APK for mobile, but failed. So the only way to really play this demo is to use the browser version, which also means that you cannot do the sneak peek content, but only the chapter 1 stuff (Sorry)!
Thanks for telling me! I did release a patch earlier, but maybe I accidentally added the incorrect file that wasn't my patches for some of the glitches you found...
1 - I found that one earlier and patched it!
2 - Not sure how you got screen soft locked in black as I didn't have that issue nor did he disappear for me. Now I did find the crystal sticking around and fixed that! As a little bonus while trying to figure out what the black screen and disappearance was about, I did find that I had the event end too early which stopped you from getting his nude costume (Which I added the debug crystal)!
3 - I think I found the grass you were referring too (hopefully)
4 - I fixed the issue with the repeats!
5 - I fixed the fish crate (I accidentally had it check if it was done with the carrot crate event)
6 - I found the snake girl and moved them to a spot where you can reach them!
7 - I fixed that with 1 since I also noticed that.
By the time you see this I will have started to upload the fixes! Thank you as always again for telling me about these as I did miss quite a few!
-Yeah, I had a hard time with him too, but I found certain characters with certain spells really helped deal with him when testing! He was meant to be fought at around level 50ish, He might or might not get easier now that I am about to add a bunch of different attacks to everyone since I estimate the next area will take the player to level 35-40 now.
-Thanks for letting me know about the spelling error and the portrait bug, I will have it fixed when I release the patch later today!
-Also the specter was meant to instantly die if it could not detect certain mistakes made during the game! (If you are curious, it checks if any party members have died for good or left)
-I am glad to see that the passive bug got cleared lol. I hope I won't accidentally effect the whole party with it instead of just Leon next time.
Yeah I guess that is true. I guess I should allow the spell to be used outside of battle. Especially since getting the shard is a challenge in general! However, since it can be obtained pretty early on when compared to how much larger my game is planned to be, maybe I might nerf it a tad bit (Maybe lower the MP regeneration to 5% or make a short cooldown so the player can't endlessly spam it)
The passive was only meant to affect Leon. (Passives like from the extra final chapter boss challenges for the power diamonds and the crate boosts are meant to affect everyone).
I could have made the Earthen Blessing skill castable from the menu, but I felt like that would have been a tad bit overpowered at the time of making it since the player could simply cast it once as Leon (or any staff holder), and then walk around to regenerate MP and spam it over and over again since unlike Healiara, it does have a chance to revive all party members at once. Plus the Earthen Blessing state the spell provides grants 10% regeneration to all HP, TP, and MP.
1 - Yeah, that was a glitch that I found when adding a new passive in the next update (So what I assume happened was that you did the spare the Man in Red quest to get Leon's passive which decreases 2% of MP every turn, but I found that I made it affect the whole party).
2- Thanks for telling me that, I will have that fixed in the next update when the final boss for chapter 2 is released!
3 - Two of them were meant to be solid, but due to the way RPG Maker water works, one of them is meant to be not solid (The spinning one in the corner)
4- At first I didn't see what you meant, but I found it and will have it fixed next update!
5- No you were not meant to be able to accept both quests. It would appear that I accidentally set the shinning lady's condition to the wrong switch (Basically hidden variable that is on or off) which made it so she didn't care that you sided with the other guy first. I will add a debug fix to the crystal next update so you won't have to restart your save as I am sure that other people did that too!
Thanks! I also had the load time too... I think it MIGHT be the water effects, so I might have to remove it or find a way to make it so it doesn't take forever to load. Also you are correct, this little diving spot I made was bare on purpose since it was more of a tester area. I might go back and add something down there later like a quest or another treasure ches!
