This is my first experience playing a game like this. I played the demo the first night and then was chomping at the bit to pay for the full version the second night. Jayce is one heck of a complex character. It was fascinating to watch his delusional progression toward convincing himself that what he was doing was all under the guise of a Hero. I loved his contrasting personality of not being confident at times, yet possessively righteous towards MC when it came to her safety. The plot was compelling, the aunt was adorable, and the music fit perfectly with the scenes. I still have Jayce's tune stuck in my head. I want to preface my next sentence by saying that I don't like offering unsolicited advice to writers, artists, or creators, unless they ask for feedback. However, what I would like to offer instead is a suggestion to make the story-line less linear. When I finished the full version, I wondered what the experience might have been like if I didn't know Jayce's back-story right away, or perhaps only received snippets of his story at a time. Overall, this was a fantastic game and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who loves a dark obsession.
