Not sure why but I keep having issues where the game temporarily freezes as if it's refreshing something in the background that causes a resource spike. At first I thought it might be an issue on my end but nothing I have done on my end to debug it seems to affect it and it's a pretty consistent pause, then unpause. I don't mind it sometimes but when you're moving around on the map or just clicking an action and neither register because the game is doing something in the background it becomes quite annoying.

Debuffs don't clear after they expire on you, nor do they clear after you die.
Almost always I get debuffed to hell and back during a fight, especially the debuff that adds 3.5 seconds to your attack delay, then die to the fight after I got those debuffs to a different enemy who also applies a different debuff and just die immediately again. Rinse and repeat and any type of grind becomes almost infuriating. I'm all for debuffs but when they carry over after death it makes the grind tedious and unfun.
Forgot to mention that I noticed the debuffs not clearing on their expiration specifically with the 3.5 second delay debuff. It maintains that speed until the next attack after which it refreshes.
Yeah level tower seems to be broken but everything else beyond seems to be functioning at the least or the incremental is so low that it's negligible of a bonus. Aside from the level tower I was explaining the functions of the others to the previous comment and sadly the game is abandoned so I doubt level tower will be fixed.
Rank gives a multiplier to the amount of gold you receive from your tower based on it's level. Level tower multiplies the amount of exp you receive for each block that falls that increases the Rank bar. Magnet is a currency used to purchase upgrades and the Magnet Tower multiplies the amount you receive when they're unlocked. Similarly Sapphire and Emerald have their own prestige upgrades that you sink that currency in to.
