Thanks so much for playing!

That's really my biggest regret was not getting any sound into this. Goals for next time! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! I appreciate your time!

This game was definitely a challenge and very punishing. That being said, I disagree with Varii saying to drop this idea. I think it just needs some tweaks to give the player more control, like maybe a 3rd jump and probably more time between using your flame and dying. I liked the 'fling' mechanic personally, though I did find it to be somewhat unpolished. I definitely see what you're going for it just needs more tuning and probably won't be for everyone as it's skill based. The main thing is when the player dies it needs to feel like their fault and not the game's fault. Outside of that, the music was immersive, pixel art was decent. I liked the vibe of the overall theme. Keep up the good work!

note: there is a bug that happens when you switch between maps too fast that locks you in the entryway. I found that if you blindly jump and shoot your flame to die it will reset you back into the map.

To those who come after, I had to wait a couple minutes for the game to load in order to play. Don't give up!

This was a cool little top-down shooter! I made it to the 8th round. Love the ability to upgrade as you go. Wish there were some health drops or some way to heal. Great work!

I tried again knowing that I can right click and got to about 80% save file! You got a lot going on here just needs some tweaking here and there to make things more user friendly like adjusting rates of things like crafting drops and rock hp. Still, this was a neat little game and it's awesome that I can come back to my save file and keep playing on the web! I need to learn how to do that for my games!

This was a fun little game and very cute. Love the art! It took me a minute to get the hang of the controls, but the game isn't too punishing either. Wish there were more levels. Great work on your first game, what you have here is very polished!

Great music and art! The enemies are demented as hell. I'd like to see this fleshed out into a full game. Great work on your first game, it's quite impressive as such. Keep making cool stuff! 💜

Very hard once you get boss to 69 health the shots are faster than you can swing. Maybe add some powerups that drop to let you move faster and encourage the player to move. If you stand still, you can get away with just deflecting until it gets too fast but then he always shoots out my legs. Nice work! I tried so hard to beat it.

Thank you for playing and the encouraging words! 💜

Teared up a lil playing this. This game touches on what makes us human in a very simple way. Great work and keep making cool things like this!

This was very spooky! The jump scare got me a few times at first. The need to manage which item to carry forward kept the tension going. I finished all three tents but got a gray screen at the end. The last tent said mother wasn't there then just cut to a gray screen so I'm not sure what the ending was if I got to it... anyhow this was a great concept and well-made other than the issue at the end!

Ooo that's a cool way to spin it... Thanks for playing 💜!

Thanks so much for playing! 💜

Thank you for the kind words and thanks for playing! 💜

Thank you for playing!

YOU BETTA! Give yourself a pat on the back that was a cool little puzzle game. Love the puzzles and trying to find the unique angle to get the correct shot. Nice nod to the jam at the end! Won't spoiler it for those who haven't made it there yet! :D

I agree! I had plans to add a 3rd timeline and more, but I had to down scope to have a completed game to submit. I learned so much either way. I'm glad you enjoyed what's here! :)

Fun little game! The mechanic felt a bit lost in how fast paced this was. I didn't really feel like I was thinking about how many jumps I had left. That being said I had fun as the level design was done really well. I got a 560!

Great mechanic here to fit the jam theme. This was very simple, but I had a lot of fun. I'd like to see more upgrades, maybe different guns.

Really well polished game here. From the sound to the mechanics everything is quite solid! I would have liked a way to hide from the enemies as they are very hard to kill and equally hard to get away from. Great work on this!

I learned trying to publish and submit that I almost shot myself in the foot with asset file size. I had to downgrade some assets last minute to make it web friendly for the jam and got a little nervous it wouldn't work so I hear you there! That's totally fair to ask for easier to read dialogue! Thank you so much for playing! 💜

This was cool! Reminded me of Wario Ware or something similar. The UFO was pretty challenging. I need more than 3 lives. The Grandma throw was hilarious! Keep making cool stuff! A great set of minigames!

Great work on this! It really made me think about how to use each piece in new ways. This would probably be good training for someone looking to get better at regular Tetris! The 'shadow' of the graphics threw me off a couple times on alignment, but this is a well-polished game.

I got a high score of 1560! Good job with the effects! I think sometimes the timing of the obstacles/enemies can be over punishing due to the lack of control the player has over the jumps. Keep creating, you made a great concept! :)

I liked your take on mining, bringing up a little mini game was a neat idea. I had some trouble closing interactions which ultimately kept me from finishing the game. The only way I could figure out to close interactions was using esc but that also brings up the pause menu, so it got tiresome having to close pause every time. There did not seem like a working way to close the inventory so I would have to exit to main menu and reload the save.

The game looks really good, and the sound design and mechanics are great! I would like to play this all the way through sometime if I could figure out how to get past the small problems I faced.

I loved the PlayStation art style. Makes me think of Crow Country. I did not really understand the story, but I got the liminal vibes you were going for.

This was an intense a** wiping challenge. When nature calls, it's essential to wipe. I had a lot of fun with this one. Sometimes if I got punched too much my character would just stop being able to move. Had to get good to claim the throne haha.

This was an interesting little game. Gave me Old School RuneScape vibes fishing and having random events pop up. I loved the music and the art style. The creepy guy scared me at first, but you did a fantastic job with the world building here while keeping it simple.

Nice work! I finished the game and loved the dialogue and story building.

I had some trouble with the physics lol. Got launched a few times but one time it was to my benefit! Was a good idea to implement a way to get unstuck. The platforming was hard at times, sometimes the way the character reacted to falling when a platform goes down would get me killed. I did follow your request and pressed F6 upon entering level 3. Not sure if it was supposed to happen, but I carried the friend at the end along for the ride.

Overall, this was an enjoyable and great looking game, it just needs some polish on the physics and controls to make it less punishing for reasons out of the player's control.

Great little platformer you've made!
I loved the dialog sound 'mermermamem' lol!
Reminded me of old school Rayman.

Thank you so much for the feedback, it's valuable for a beginner like me.

I have added the full screen option! 💜

I was worried it might break the game to be honest.

Wow that was so addicting I had to force myself to stop after 30+min. Great work! I aspire to make a game this engaging one day. You should put this on mobile.

This was stupid in a fun way. I love stuff like this. A testament to how sound is important to keeping the player going. Kept wanting to hear that doo doo ding success sound lol. My initial game idea for this jam was a key game inspired by the flying keys in Harry Potter. I was hoping this would be something like that kind of a where's Waldo but still great submission. :D

I saved Hamlyn! Haha. The veins (corridors) seemed to get a little wonky there, but I made it through. Great first game and you accomplished quite a bit. Art, Dialogue, Enemy AI, Animations! Keep it up!

This was a really fun little game. I broke it the first time going to character screen, couldn't make the menu go away. It's very challenging but I liked having to think about how I spend my points.

This was pretty well made, and the art style is very nice!

Would like to see more of this art style.

damn, I didn't realize the line at the bottom was a kill zone
