I got overwhelmed by the complexity of the game to be honest lol. So impressive for 5 days!!!

But I can say I got past the first fight and that's an achievement for a noob like me with 0 experience in turn-based fighting games XD

Do make this into a full game!! It will find an audience

Great art and assets! I played the original version in accordance with the spirit of the jam.

As predicted I softlocked myself but I still managed to get pretty far and I got a good overall impression.

I wasn't expecting to lose cards forever once they die in battle. That made me hoard all the cards I could find around the map before fighting anyone, I don't know if that's intended xD

Really cool attention to detail throughout the game, and there is some stuff I must have missed, the map seemed quite large.

I don't think I've seen this interpretation of the theme in any of the games I've played. It's great

Thank you for making such a cool game and congratulations, I know first hand how hard unity can be to learn in such a short time ^^

Nice game! The voice acting is great and adds much eeriness to the intro.

The gameplay itself is really challenging (not in a bad way) and I wish I had more time to explore it until the end

I got jumpscared by a TREE! ;-; Maybe not my kind of game, but I appreciate all the work that went into it! I had fun nonetheless

The art style is great and the game loop is super fun!!

Thanks for making this cozy little game, you could totally continue this story!

I too struggled to get going at first but when I got the hang of things it went really smoothly.

I chuckled a little bit when I saw the Grim assistant's design. In our game we made something extremely similar for "Grim Peeper" haha

Really fun, I loved that!

I had a blast with the dash and all the nice extra little mechanics were very appreciated (dynamite and the melee with knife especially)

I wish I was able to change the sensitivity because the speed ended up giving me motion sickness by the end of the first level and I had to stop ^^

Great game though!

Cute game and I like the 3D models, only wish there was some music.

There is some softlock possible if you fall in the wrong spot, where you can die over and over (which happened to me ;-;)

Awesome work with the 3D assets. Got my butt kicked at the spikes but I would love to see the concept expanded

Nice! There aren't enough roguelike entries. I love the genre :D

Quick thing: I got stuck under a log and couldn't escape which forced me to restart ^^

Cool post-processing effect!

I enjoyed my janky stroll around the city (and underneath because I clipped through haha)

I'm very impressed you managed to make a 3d game that looks so good in so little time!

I struggled to stay alive until I realized I can outrun all the monsters haha

FYI Had to use 7zip because windows hates your zip file. Really weird!

I loved the game, so well polished. One of my favorites from the game jam for sure

LOL I love the music when you fail!

Great game, only thing I would add is some replayability by randomizing which houses are safe :)

I always wondered what a cardboard box tasted like!

Unfortunately I had to quit early because the game made me motion sick (not your fault, it be how it be)

Great take on the theme, very enjoyable puzzles.
You killed it with the level design and game design.

I'm not much into visual novels, I don't have the patience. But the art work is INSANE, congratulations!

Loved the homemade vibe.

As others pointed out it could use a little polishing and gameplay balance but the concept is absolutely there.

Arf maybe the web build has a little bug. I tried dragging the bones after opening the grates and it just wouldn't work, until the timer eventually ran out D:

I'm a HUGE fan of cooking games. I love this!

Unfortunately I didn't manage to bake anything (how does the oven work?) and the timer is pretty unforgiving xD

Sorry to hear about that github incident, that's really scary.

Love the atmosphere, the music and the art. It's all fantastic!

Side note : I think the sticky notes should be more visible to the player :p

What a goofy game XD

I'm a big fan of the music and sound effects in particular :)

Please consider checking out my game as well!

That was excellent, and a pretty challenging game. You struck a good balance I think!

That scythe animation is so satisfying!

Virtues: Excellent Driver
Sins:  Ran Red Lights

LOL!

Odd brought me here!

I didn't get as far as I would have liked because the powers were a little confusing to me and I ended up dying to the second enemy I encountered D:

Love the cat and love your take on the theme <3

Incredible amount of work!

Well that's one way to get humbled I guess lol!

Great voice acting!

I'm so impressed with this game, great job! Visuals are 10/10 and the music is so good!

I did play the latest version so I think I had an easier time understanding the controls.

Please consider rating my game as well if you find the time!

I very much enjoyed this game!

I will admit that the controls overwhelmed me and I had to go back to the tutorial a few times, but I had a blast!

It took me a little while to understand all the different card mechanics, which is good!

Really fun concept and it's a good base line to add more game mechanics and layers of complexity.  I hope you make it into a fully fleshed out game!

I enjoyed playing :)

Thank you :)

We agree the map could have been a lot smaller. We actually had a lot more planned for the game to fill up all the space but ran out of time :c

Thanks for the kind comment!

I think spacebar works just as well for progressing the dialogues, but it is true we have some inconsistent interaction keybinds that we need to fix ^^

How I audibly gasped when starting that first scene XD I wasn't expecting that.
This is a very unique game and I like your take on purgatory with a very immersive environment despite its simplicity.

That being said I encountered a bug after collecting the fishing rod and cracking the safe. I was getting chased by the monster so I tried going to the light blue house, where I got stuck on a tile and I got wrecked by the monster ;-;

Please consider rating my game if you find the time! <3

Really stunning design for the main character (Somnia if I'm not mistaken).

Unfortunately I got stuck after reaching the end of the level. But this entry is a promising prototype :)

Please consider rating my game if you find time! <3

Great little game, and very impressive for a first solo project.

I wasn't expecting the game to end so soon and I think I went a little too fast to get fully immersed in the game, my bad.

With that said I really enjoyed the combination of the music with the background art. And I appreciate the details with all the animations. Everything comes together to create a coherent world with a great vibe!
