Wooooo!! Thanks so much for playing until the very end. :p I really appreciate it!
Ooooops ahaha, I will need to make that soundtrack loop heh.
No bugs! Here are some nits you could consider for improvements. At a very basic level, I usually start by working on the core game mechanic -- in your case, that's (a) flying and (b) shooting down birds.
Once the core game mechanic is more fun, then I think the next most important goal is setting up a clear challenge. You've already got a clear goal (survive until time runs out) -- so it's just a matter of adding more challenge. For example, you might force the player to use the laser with a wall of birds that can't possibly be passed. Or, you might penalize the player (time increases) for every bird that passes you.
The visual style is nuts -- the bulge of the in-game screen, the pixel art, the font, the transition animation between menu and game... so incredibly put together. Nice work! The watermelon smash is also very satisfying both in terms of audio and visual effects.
Would love more watermelon smashing -- hope you make this into a full game! Could totally see myself playing this on my phone for a high score wherever I go. Really fun.
What a cute premise, this definitely reminds me of agar.io style games, and that's a good thing! I do love to monch on smaller fish, and I can't wait to turn my fish into shark -- just you wait, it won't be long now haha. Great game, and really cute pixel art! The name is punny and a great fit for the game and the jam.
Such a well polished and executed game! I love the idea that you get bigger as you get hit, making it easier to get hit and get even bigger. The shooting and shaking really makes the game feel exciting, in addition to other small details like how the score increments, how the bullets hit the food, how the food splits etc. -- it's a really nice touch. Fantastic game! Had a blast playing it.
Wow that was really satisfying to play! The food was fun to drag onto my plate, there was tons of micro visual feedback for eating food generally -- and occasionally for using the correct utensil. The leaderboard integration and the cohesiveness of the buffet "storyline" is spot on.
This is really fun! I'm going to be back to set a high score... soon...
Absolute fire game as usual! It always makes me crai when I put down a cup and don't realize they wanted a cone :( I also think I dun goofed orange vs. mango ahaha.
Fun game and gorgeous pixel art as usual. Now that I've seen a number of your games, I'm starting to get what the SeeOne "brand" feels like, and it's pretty awesome. Fun game!
This has a ton of potential -- the burgers look so delicious! The meat mechanics are very forgiving, and I'm really happy I don't have to pluck them off the grill at the perfect moment. The boxes in the back sliding away are a great way to visually show burgers shipped off to customers. The menu is pretty comprehensive -- so many possible burgers! One nice-to-have would be to pause the timer while the menu is open. Granted, it also adds time pressure, so maybe that's the point...
In any case, neat game! :p
Haha, love the title and the character's expressions!
Everything in the game is labeled, clearly described, and visually obvious what it does -- nice art, great dialogue, and fun gameplay -- very nice work!
Making a massive 3D scene for a jam in no joke -- this clearly took a lot of effort, nice work! The "X" to denote progress in the top left was a great addition, and overall, this is game is awesome. The cabbages take off like pigeons, the fruits are running around hog wild, and now I've got corn blood and guts all over me!
I had to play it until the very end -- attached my final score! :p
LOL I was wondering what all the little letters in the hunger bar was... and then I died. And I understood, haha! The "eating makes you hungry faster" is such a hilarious twist. Very troll, and I'm all for it. I did try eating the wall and all the organic food even. 10/10 would send this to my friends. Will be doing this right after I finish writing this review haha!
