Looking forward to it!

I have a question.

Early in the book, about setting up the VScoder:

It says you need to tell the Lua extension where the playdate SDK is. It then says to do stuff in the "project" folder. I don't have a "project" folder, so i am confused about this.

The whole section beyond that is tell me to do stuff, without telling me where to do it, like setting a bunch of code somewhere.

Could you clarify this for me?

*Edit* I figured it out. The epub on a kindle messes up the text a bit. And the lack of colors doesn't help, either. Thank goodness for the pdf.

I guess I need to play this again again, hahaha. When are you making your own game? You told me 5 years ago that making FF1 was a stepping stone. I'm curious what the final plan is.

Woo!

Awesome, thank you!

Will this ever be commong to the Playdate Catalog?

Neat idea. I'm down to try it.  I hope you can expand on the idea further, in the future, on another game perhaps, to keep people's interest past the 1 or two weeks people tend to spend on virtual pets.

I'm gonna download this to play, next time I get the itch to run through it.

The main site that keeps FFH in down for some reason.

Here is a mirror to where you can nab the game. It's good fun.

I wish I didn't just accidentally find this on gamefaqs 10 minutes after I beat Mystic Quest again. I'm super curious about the secret dungeons and bosses.

While I applaud you efforts, I just thought I would inform you that someone has already remade FF1. It's called Final Fantasy H.

Not as "faithfully" though.

It kills me that the goofy cart art I made actually got used for something that got released. I love it!
