Cool game great movement nice art.

LOVED IT THIS GAME IS A MASTERPIECE

This game is the definition of skill issue. first time playing it i was super confused but after learning it it becomes SO REWARDING.

PS: This is a personal opinion maybe im just bad at dungeon crawling games.

In my first try i genuinely wanted to rate it at 1 star overall and in every category , but i give it a second try after reading control.

pros:-

1-the game idea is interesting i like rouge-like games and i think each rouge like have a unique taste to it.

2- the dash mechanic is satisfying i loved it 10/10 best mechanic in the game.

3- level design is cool and i like the way you hide areas to make the player explore more.

4- the character design is good and i liked that you added a shop system that was on the fly not requiring me to enter some building.

5- the way monsters pop in your face is also cool i liked it.

cons:-

1-The game doesn't have a tutorial and its so complex for anyone not getting direct instructions

 if you make a rouge like you must  make a tutorial for it otherwise people might end up without a gun in their first

 run (skill issue i know lol).

2- you start without a weapon and to get it you must chose one of three paths in order to get a weapon and the game

doesn't  state it clearly.

3- sometimes there are areas of the map that shouldn't be blocked visually but there is some hidden collider in them.

4- The hand gun.

5- The weapons aren't in the center of the player making shooting feels like hell.

6- the colors of the map and the size of the tiles giving me uneasy feeling if that's intentional make this as a pros if not i put it here.

7- the soundtrack is funny but doesnt give me the dungeon crawler vibe.

These cons and pros are meant for you to revise them later im not trying to make you feel bad for a game made for a jam in 10 days with complex systems i genuinely think the biggest issue with this good game is timing and that issue is the same for all of us, I hope that we learn from this jam as a whole and try to get better in the next jams or personal projects <3.

it was my first Game Jam too and it was a cool experience hope my next game jam feels even better ill rate so many games later so if you guys wanted you can check mine too believe me youll enjoy it. gl everyone.

you complimented our mechanic but your game isnt lacking at all, i enjoyed the simple yet super hard to deflect bullet patterns if your game was any longer it would just be too hard for no reason but the difficulty of the game was well portioned with its length and i loved it.


the changing colors mechanic is really unique to me personally and the execution was good.


but it made me angry every time i lost XD (skill issue i know).


oh and the music choice was on spot gj.
