It was really confusing at first, but it quickly became a lot of fun trying to get better and learning where to go to avoid getting trapped by the area denial. And I love how fast it gets as the music peaks and what a crazy skill check it becomes!

I hope this game gets updated to a playable state, it looks really interesting!

Wow this game is the #1 of this year so far when it comes to getting that sweet dopamine. After every run I felt noticeably stronger and later on upgrades became so utterly broken that my PC could barely keep up with it. What an amazing game, definitely the #1 for me this jam!

Thank you so much <3

Thank you for feedback :)

I agree the timing is harsh and I don't think you're "bad" at it. Most people giving me feedback seem to have a tough time with it and I could've implemented it a bit better.

Yeah I thought so that it would be a little confusing if the music doesn't match up, but it was my first game jam (and first ever game too) and time was tight. So I couldn't look up or think about on how to approach that. The visual indication I had more or less implemented but removed it last minute as it looked really "ugly" and didn't fit. The timing is absolutely my fault. In hindsight I now understand what I did wrong with it technically. I agree that it should be more a little more generous.

Thank you so much for your feedback :)

This is such a great game, I really love the idea behind it! I also really like how there's a "bad" powerup / infection node for which you have to quickly let yourself be attacked before it spreads too much.

The game was really neat, I love the art and the mini-tactics you have to come up with! I wished you could go into fullscreen though to better see the art and to not get stuck when dragging the map around :)

The game also froze near the end, I think that was also due to the mouse somehow getting borked by leaving the game constantly.

Wow, thank you for uploading some footage of the game :)

I agree with the visual feedback and I actually already had that implemented. It just didn't look good so I scratched it last minute and didn't have enough time to come up with an alternative.

Thank you for feedback! Yeah, for sounds I didn't have enough time anymore but there should actually be some background music playing. Maybe you had your computer or browser tab muted?

Hey thank you for your feedback! I updated it to 'tab' now, that should work better on web builds :)

Wow, the game is really pretty, especially the main menu! The gameplay was neat too, though I had some enemies spawn outside the map which made it a bit too easy (and I noticed you can breach containment by dashing through the map border :p).
