This game is so good, you guys should be proud of yourselves. I really liked the minigame and actually had a hard time the first 5 or so tries lol. I liked the music change between the normal gameplay and the minigame gameplay. I think maybe a little sea shell counter would help somewhere so I can know how many I've found! The main menu was so adorable and I loved the pop effect when play is hit. The characters said in the beginning none of us are supposed to go near the water or something like that and when I saw it I was like will I just die or something and was pleasantly surprised when I turned into a seal- so cute.
I thought this was well put together, but I had trouble with even the first puzzle lol. (Not a fault of yours I'm just not the best puzzle solver in games LOL) A few times I got my rocks stacked in a way that I just had to reset the game to try again since I got so far off course. I loved how you integrated the color palette and the sounds of moving the rocks was very satisfying. I would love to see like a dev log or something which would show the answers to the puzzles or something along those lines!!
I love the atmosphere this game has, it had me immersed really quickly and the writing was really good too. You guys did really really good.
I came across a bug though I thought I should mention, which resulted in me losing the marbles minigame which was you can play the game while the instructions were up, I was trying to click random stuff to get the instructions down (didn't see the click to exit button) and ended up losing without getting to try.
Lol, funky and funny little game. The feed audio caught me off gaurd. The only thing for me was it ran weird but I was able to figure it out. It seemed to not have a bordered mode which I think was why it ran weird, I had to scale my browser down to find the play button. Which isn't a big deal or anything just something to note!
This was an amazing play. Seagull customer was really funny haha. Very strong entry to the jam. Only thing, I may have missed it, but I didn't see where the limitation was? And I agree with others in the comments on the first customer takes awhile to show up and it left me a little confused for a second, but that's about it! I also loved the animated UI, and the relaxed music helped me think while trying to stack my ingredients. It felt like lofi and studying which is an elite combo haha
Very cool first game, bravo. I love the music. I would say the only thing that confused me was the ice cubes look similar to the sugar, but that was probably just a brain fog moment on my part LOL. The drawing on the notebook is a GREAT touch. Smart mechanic there!
Oh and I came across a minor bug that doesn't really have much impact cause all you have to do is refresh the browser, but if you press exit before play when you do hit play the game scene will be bugged and frozen. I'd recommend making a web version which doesn't have the quit button (since you can't quit a web version anyway), that's what I did for mine cause I had similar issues, and then keeping it for any windows builds etc. Anyway as I said SUPER minor, no impact whatsoever on my rating of your game I just thought I'd let you know about it! oh also don't feel obligated, my recommendation might even have flaws I just wanted to give an idea!
It is indeed possible.. to a degree! I will be updating the description shortly with a spoiler/additional clarity section which contains what's going on there! Thank you so much for playing and your feedback :D Wow just took a quick look at your game, will download and try later on my PC, it looks FANTASTIC. Wow.
Dude, this is one of the best things I've ever seen lol. I love it. I by accident served my first guy ice and smt about the shaking and him walking away with just ice after asking for an old fashioned killed me lmao. The artstyle also reminds me of cool math games the Papa series on cool mathgames which is awesome
