From what I can tell, I think it's Tallgrass

(6 edits)

I'd say small update or not, it's still fun to play through it all again to see it

Plus a little bit of progress at a time is probably better overall for quality and health anyway

Also is it good If I post another comment like that again later on or would that just be annoying/not the best place to post that stuff?

Just asking since I had fun doing it, but don't want to be rude or anything like that

Well I guess it's time to find all the new stuff you added

It's just surprise content when you think about : p (so much for saying this when I'm adding what I find here huh?)

Who knows what there is to find!

Edit:

From what I can tell some of the new content (since the last update you could download in case I'm a dumb dumb and played an older version) is:

- 2 new music tracks

- Less lag when being pushed to the side after returning from the hunting area as a kit (Or at least my crappy laptop had that issue)

- Dead elk along with associated items implemented

- Scarf moves with crouch sprite

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bugs:

Some bugs I've encountered (tho you likely already know these, but will list just in case)

- From 1:00-4:59 there seems to be an issue where the sky is displayed as day time before the sun starts rising

- Sometimes when picking up Goldenseal from the garden it doesn't disappear

- Characters in the foreground seem to clip through the menu

- Dialog seems to keep going when the menu is opened along with clipping through the menu

- Sometimes when selling items to Java it automatically sells the next 1-4 (5?) items below the sold item

- Item ID menu clips through normal menu (although it does mean you can sell your items without worrying about time)

- ID menu sometimes doesn't disappear, stopping you from entering places you need to click to enter

- Accessories clip through menu

- Tallgrass sitting over grave sprite showing up in hunter's den

- Clipping through Robin, Willow and Hickory's sprites

- Romanced characters being omnipresent or something due to being in 2 places or more at once

- The player's eyes appear in front of characters sitting in the foreground and dialog

- Sometimes when crouching as a kit the player's eyes don't move down with the sprite (I've only encountered this twice in the last version so I don't know if it's currently present in this version, but I'll put here anyway just in case and edit if I do see it)

- Dead fox sprite is now elk sprite along with elk items

- Enemies still trying to attack player after death

- Possibly not bug, but demon Elk? (Had 666 coins and burned to death when got killed by elk XD)

- Died on revival due to already being starved (partly my fault tho due to eating a bunch of holly beforehand to see if I could die twice)

- Can't sell Dead Rose

(Please note I didn't check anything with the Dead Rose besides buying it bc I don't want to feel bad)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all I could find that stands out to me at least

Good thing about looking for this stuff is that I found a few secrets that I didn't know about before

I like that the dev logs fun to read
Hopefully you'll get more free time so can read more of them (or so you can take a rest from being so busy at least)

As for the game itself, I like that this game is easily replayable since a lot of games I end up playing get boring after awhile or don't feel the same going through them again

I also like how there's a good bit of customisation you can do for the player character along with there usually being something to do

(This also got me into wanting to read Warrior Cats)

Can't wait for the next update
Keep up the good work!
