I see the vision and there is potential.

Visually it is good in some areas.

The UI elements of being cold and warm are a good indicator but cover your health a bit.

Way too short, So there isn't much point of getting upgrades because of the lack of saving.

You are able to spam click all the way up without going near a single campfire checkpoint. The cosmetics/upgrades are nice but there isn't much point in them when you can reach the top without them easily.

Having to trek all the way to the bottom to upgrade feels tedious.

Not enough gems to collect everything(Which is fine to do other runs I guess).

It could of really done with some sort of endless aspect to it. Even if it was just spawning the player at the bottom again, once they reach the top and randomise some of the spawns of stuff.

The game just needs some more challenge to it and reasons to replay.

Possibly slowing down how much you can climb could help drastically so the player has more reason to avoid obstacles and use the camps, as that would give them less time to climb between points.

A victory screen and a game over screen would be a nice addition instead of being kicked to the main menu with very little indication if you won or lost.

However, The game still has some charm to it with a some what unique idea and with some small changes(and some big ones) it could definitely be a fun little game.

Bugs:

Encountered a few bugs such as not being able to pick up some gems, pressing to respawn at the camps would respawn you to ice if you went near any most recently and UI not scaling correctly on the players screen(outside of 1920x1080).

Cool, nice visuals.

Decent soundtrack.

Glad to see an options menu.

Not sure what you mean by short endless runner? Those words cancel each other out.

Would be nice to see your previous high score and how much you beat it by(If you beat it obviously) on the game over screen.

Jump height feels a little bit inconsistent at times(could just be a skill issue on my part).

Feels like the run is not needed and messes you up more then it helps you(again could just be a skill issue on my part).

Is there any story to the game? Why is there rising water?

Very immersive.

Would love to see the game actually get finished and fleshed out.

The game does great for building tension.

Amazing game.

Enough said. Go play it.

"Mush" A Fungtastic Adventure in Mushroom Harvesting!

Rating: ★★★★☆

"Mush" is an enchanting and delightful journey into the world of mushroom collecting, offering players a fun-filled experience that captivates from the very start. Developed with a charming aesthetic and an immersive atmosphere, this game brings the joy of foraging to your fingertips.

The graphics of "Mush" are nothing short of mesmerizing. The vibrant, whimsical landscapes make mushroom hunting an absolute visual treat. The various mushroom species is nice, each with vivid colours(Green and Red). From the dense forests to the tranquil meadows, the game's environments are diverse and contribute to the overall enchantment of the gaming experience.

The gameplay itself is straightforward yet addictive. Players navigate through lush terrains, exploring hidden nooks and crannies to discover an array of mushrooms. The controls are intuitive, making it easy for both seasoned gamers and newcomers to pick up and play. The thrill of stumbling upon a rare mushroom or uncovering a hidden mushroom grove adds an exciting element to the collecting process.

The game's soundtrack deserves special mention, as it complements the overall mood seamlessly. The gentle melodies enhance the peaceful ambiance of the mushroom-filled landscapes, creating a soothing backdrop to the player's exploration.

However, "Mush" is not without its minor shortcomings. While the core gameplay is engaging, some players might yearn for additional challenges or objectives to diversify the experience.

In conclusion, "Mush" is an absolute delight for fans of casual gaming and nature enthusiasts alike. Its charming visuals, simple yet addictive gameplay make it a standout title in the mushroom-collecting genre. While it might benefit from a bit more variety in challenges, the overall experience is undeniably fun, making "Mush" a game well worth exploring for players of all ages.

Decent game, Can see the inspiration from subway surfers. And you aren't too far off.

Could really do with a game over screen that tells you your high score. And a few tiles seemed to be bugged/impossible(could just be a skill issue).

Settings/Options didn't list any options for me? Would be nice to be able to turn the music down.

There is also a few questions with the world building in general like "Why are you running?", "What are you running from?", "Why don't I just go on the pavement?". But these are just mostly nit picks.

Not sure if this one is possible

Default unity cube? Generation error??? The hit box of the slide barrier after that is also impossible from my experience it just kills you no matter what.

You can jump infinitely. Other then that I like the art style.
