Wauw, a lot of mechanics packed in this game already! I really like the take on the countdown and using it with the flagged positions. I platforming felt a bit clunky, and I got sent back most time due to getting stuck under a box or the like - so needs a little fine tuning. Also, the music stopped working after my first restart.

The most polished game I have rated so far. Playing this on an ultrawide monitor defo presented a challenge! It is no secret that this is a fruit ninja clone, but darn good one at least! The character was funny and well designed, the pacing was great, and the mechanics solid. The music was a vibe! I played the windows version, and closing the game didn’t work when pressing the big red button :) Uhm, also… I didn’t really get that the timer was a timer more than just a health bar? Since you are constantly shooting at fruit and it dropping, the “timer” never really functions as a timer - which makes me wonder if the game succeeds in the game jam theme :)

Really nice treat! Short, to the point, polished. I think expanding on the narrative, adding more levels, and more mechanics/power ups, would defo be a nice game! Loved the muffled count down at the end, where I reached the door and heard 3..2..1.. as it faded to black was nice!

Really cute game and story. The art style is good for this kind of memory game, although I didn’t personally enjoy it that much. The music was calming and didn’t distract. It would defo be more challenging with more kinds of questions, not just which color, shape or how many was there of this thing. I think the idea has great potential and good use of the game jams’s theme!

Really really cool submission. It feel well balanced already and of course the art, music and vibe is great. Some better UI for the abilities would really lift the quality up, so that I don’t need to check your itch page description. Had some good fun playing it!

Love the movement feel - just like everybody else. However, I do not think you really captured the theme of the game jam that well… The timer doesn’t seem like an important part of game, and without it, the game would be exactly the same. So great game, wrong game jam!

Really cool game! Love the concept and the pacing of the duels. The music is facking annoying - which might be the point tbh. Although, the music does loop inconsistently and that is what I am mostly talking about. The characters are fun and I could totally see some kind of customization and multiplayer being integrated. Would also be cool to see the map change a bit cosmetically. Would be nice to add some keys for passing to specific opponents rather than just clicking with the mouse. Hope you keep working on it!

Yeah, defo a bit of work to be done

Love the concept and agree that the brute forcing is bit of a shame. Some consequence to getting it wrong would be cool, e.g. a minute cut from the timer or something else. Also, 20 minutes was a bit long, so never really felt like I had think fast, i.e. brute forcing would be a vaible strategy. A bit nit-picky now, but when the music loops, there is a clear silence between the loops, which kinda took me out of the vibe. Also, mapping the action keys to ‘c’ and ‘z’ seems like such odd choices when you have ‘q’ and ‘e’ right there! I think the story telling was really good, the music fitted the theme really well and the art style was cute!
