Yeah I messed up the viewport scaling stuff I guess. Gonna try and learn more about that for the next jam/game I do

Yeah the time limit was definitely a bit generous but I felt with the goal to make a cozy game I'd rather err on the side of too much time than not enough. In the full game idea there would be multiple seasons to play through so a shorter season wouldn't be as limiting

expansion ideas are:

• More sophisticated research/upgrades
• eggs hatch into workers that you can control RTS style
• Hive is customizable (you place things where you want, expand it, etc.
• Actual terrain
• ongoing gameplay, ie. after the season ends, if you pass the storage check you can keep playing in another season

really fun! The typing minigame at the start took me back to all the "learn typing" games I played as a kid

Fun mechanic idea!

It took a while to load for me, and the initial start was tough with the bots shooting at you immediately. But once I got swinging around I enjoyed it. Loved the music and sound effects.

The spikes seemed to have a larger hitbox than expected, making the game a bit hard.

But anyway, beautiful visuals! 

I do wish there was a bit more background music. After I clicked start it cut out.

Still a fun little platformer :)
