There’s a link above, right next to where I indicate it’s under MIT license.

Hmm. I use the ‘keyboard’ python library, which is layout agnostic and is def causing this. If anyone out there is using an AZERTY keyboard they’re boned.

I may or may not be able to address this, I’ll look into it.

In the official sub, they banned me for breaching ToS — which, fair enough. Everyone in the other sub was saying “it’s prob malware” and downvoted my post to hell, so I threw my hands up and deleted it. I’ve got over 2k downloads on here; if it were a virus surely someone would have come in here to report/complain already.

Nope, honestly not sure how to do that in a way that can be trusted.  I put all the source code on GitHub; you’re welcome to check it and recompile.

That IS very strange; my script doesn't touch anything besides the notes keys (qwertyu, asdfghj, zxcvbnm) plus shift and ctrl for sharps and flats. See my source code on GitHub.

I've looked into this a bit more. The only function key I'm touching is F11 for the global stop. I'm guessing that your keyboard/driver, or maybe your OS, uses some of these [ctrl + letter] combinations as shortcuts for volume/play functions.  If you want to test this theory, on your desktop with everything minimized, hold down ctrl and then all those letter keys in sequence and see if they do anything?

Other players can use Meridian Touch to knock people out of the instrument. 😞

Thank you for reporting this — my midi interpreter has issues with some encodings that I’m working on, this is helpful. Hopefully I’ll have this fixed next release

Oooo good ideas; I'm going to implement these suggestions in the next version release. :D
