i can't get over them. ever. colt's manipulation of grey: the burning of ken's note, immediate dismissal of concern, and coercion into drinking it away only reinforce one thing - your ability to write broken people acting like real, broken people. where colt's fear of abandonment becomes the reason for his actions, it's impossibly intimate in its violence. made all the more apparent when, waking from his possession, he's helpless to stop grey from leaving. crying, begging him not to.
this route is my absolute favorite. the jar between a dream come true, a future to work toward, and the awful reality is beautifully written. i love them so, so much. thank you, nikko and friends.
