Thank you for the feedback! I wanted the controls to be kind of unpredictable but I'm sorry to hear that you found them frustrating. And yeah I agree with the background music thing. Thanks for playing!

Fun game! Loved the music and the game felt pretty polished. I think the game could make the probability changing a bit more strategic, as I pretty much put all my points into attack every round and that worked pretty well.

Would appreciate you checking out my game! https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4707004 i'll go try yours now

Love the art! The game feels super polished. I think the puking sounds are a bit too realistic for me and it's kind of putting me off lmao. Cool game though!

Really fun game with an interesting interpretation on the theme. I think having 3 rings to rotate is really difficult to manage which lead to me pretty much just using the inner ring. The enemies also went invisible on wave 11 onwards. Cool game!

This looks and feels crazy good and it was only made in a week. I'd be damned if this doesn't win the entire jam. Great job!

I've done it too! Thank you for the comment!

Thank you so much for the feedback!!! Yeah I do agree with the background music point. Also, you can move in any direction but I think the player only having 8 sprites might have made it feel a bit more restricted that it actually was. Thank you again!

Thank you for the kind words!!!

Thank you for the feedback!

I thought this was going to be another regular maze game but the red ball mechanic was really interesting and kind of shifted the whole game dynamic to be a lot more strategic and I thought it made it a lot more fun! Levels 4 and 5 hit the sweet spot of being both challenging and rewarding. I think the visuals could be a bit neater as the sprites kind of clipped into the walls a bit but that's a really minor complaint. Fun game!!

This is super fun! Reminds me of Doodle Jump and the powerup mechanic was interesting. As another comment said I think the fixed jump height made things a bit less fluid. Fun game!

Thank you so much!

The voice acting was really fun and the game has an interesting premise. I think there are times where you feel a bit too out of control which causes the tornadoes to kind of corner you into a spot.  Fun game!

Cool game! I do like small arcade-y games like these. Like the other comments have said, a border or something to distinguish hazards from background objects would go a long way.

Nice game! Everything feels very polished which is especially impactful for a small game like this one. Interesting take on the theme as well. Like another comment said, it would be nice to see when the opponent is spinning so you can make more strategic spins yourself.

This is absolutely mental in the best possible way. This is crazy talented work!

This is really cool! Really nice visuals and it felt pretty satisfying once I knew what was going on. Would love to see more levels!

Here's my office chair racing game! Would really appreciate anybody checking it out :) https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4707004

I genuinely think this is one of the greatest games I've seen in this jam so far. really funny dialogue!

Thank you so much for commenting!! I was a bit undecisive whether to add music or keep the awkward office ambience (which I admit might have been too quiet). Appreciate the kind words! :)

I really appreciate the feedback!! I intended to have a little grace period when touching lava to make it more forgiving but yeah I might have made it too long. Thank you again for playing!

Thank you for your feedback!! I've adjusted the itch page now :)

this game is absolutely beautiful!!

This is a super interesting interpretation on the theme!

Cool game but I don't quite get how it's "spin to win"?

I'd rate this a glumbo / 10

god i'm an idiot, didn't even see the settings screen - gonna give it another try now

that's fair with the time restraints and all, maybe it's just a eyesight issue on my part lol

This seems cool but for the life of me I can't make out what the rules page says
