dont worry, nintendo has let the pokemon fanbase specifically do their thing for a hot minute now

the big romhacks/fangames like infinite fusion or even the hacks alpharad has put together with team too many types havent gotten taken down. idk how much longer that mercy may last

in all honesty though, fangame developers know what they're getting into, i've taken the stance of being as positive as possible about the situation so they dont stop making art, and if they do end up getting taken down i make a point to keep a build of any project i enjoy or find interesting (you should too) so it can stay in existence in the future. the more people with a build of this game the less likely its forgotten and more likely it has a legacy like AM2R or pokemon urainium that still have large playerbases.

if you've ever heard of the "second death" when someone is remembered for the last time, it happens with art too! and especially for these indie fangame devs without eyes on them, its a special and important task to keep them "alive".

wait until the game is finished

havent gotten this one yet!

im getting it on the standalone version, its *very* inconsistent

nope this is made with ue5 not rpg maker

no linux version yet (hopefully) so you're out of luck for the time being. this release is super duper rough though, i wouldn't invest time getting this setup on your handheld until the final release or at least a later demo.

i also wouldnt 100% be confident it will run on a 50 dollar handheld, this will be much more demanding than the average pokemon fangame, if you want to know how well it will run try and get octopath traveler on it as a benchmark

the game doesnt seem to be using any real time simulated lighting because its running <150fps on my 2080 super which chugs pretty heavy on most implementations so you might have some hope

hi captain! (you can jump off the side of the island if you go under the trees near birtch's camp, you can also walk into the island and explore like this! you can get back in if you run into a south-facing wall)

ran into a bug, pressed b on the character name screen while hovering over a character, and it switched to the screen that plays when you select a gender (character sprite in the middle with selected below them), pressing a or start didnt do anything but when i pressed b again i get the dialog box, and pressing b one more time gets me a black screen, nothing happens to the audio

soft reseting will fix this state for anyone frustrated by relaunching the game! (pause + run if you skipped the text)

seems pretty random? i've had mixed results every time i launched the game

hearing you talk about the work you're doing specifically on the battle systems and stuff at the beginning of the demo makes me think theres potential for a pokemon essentials equivalent for unreal! think about it (but dont overwork yourself!)

nevermind got in after a few tries :D

any of you guys using ds4windows? might be the cause

im conquering so fucking hard right now like literally same

if things went slightly different today i would not be here right now lmao

EARLY RELEASE LETS GOOOO

i've spent alot of time digging at the bottom of the barrel of roblox games, as one does, and i've noticed that this game has some of the same systems that are extremely prevalent in roblox rpgs. from the classlessness, to the m1/m2 (charge attack)/block combat, to the unlockable skill system from random drops, to the player orientation being individual from the camera, to the repeatable dungeons with multiple difficulties, all of these things are familiar to me from roblox rpgs, and as someone who finds themselves getting sucked into those roblox rpgs extremely often, im glad this game gives a fresh coat of paint to those systems in an actually fleshed out world. i am beyond excited for the full release.

cum into your hand and lick it off like a real man

please i require futa

thanks thats really helpful, im not getting the voiceline you're talking about for some reason, and losing the gem seems to do nothing for me in the .7 preview, ill report those bugs on the discord, thanks

could you release a post explaining all the mechanics? i understand the first map but i cant wrap my head around the nightclub

i love the gameplay so far, had to get the tutorial from a random steam guide but im sure a tutorial is on your list of things to do since its so early in development, i also think that buttons and stuff, especially the door buttons, the control panel on the stage, and the plushie should be made bigger, its hard to quickly click on them in a panic. the animations do need some work, but the models look amazing. very well made game but needs a lot of polish before release, im looking forward to future updates!

just kinda ok, after you understand how to properly use stamina, (wait until one bar, stop until 4) its hilariously easy to just run from peach. and if you play the game the intended way its just alot of waiting and nothing else, gets stale after about 5 minutes.
