I think they're planning on adding support for around 15 which will be pretty fun ☺️
(They were going to add that to Among Us 2 but now these ideas are going to Among Us 1)
If the imposter did self report, they may want to change the story up a little bit. Therefore, this idea may have a few downsides. It does sound like a good idea though!.
