And you realize that open vr requires a powerful WINDOWS (Frick you microsoft linux 4ever) computer because oculus is too frickin stupid to add support for linux and Macs? and the majority of users that have the oculus quest do NOT own a pc? and also do you know how businesses work? people target the bigger audience where they can sell the most of their product to, in this case, oculus quest users, of course they will add support for PCVR later for more income, PCVR exclusives are really only exclusive because, A): The game is too demanding to run on the quest.
