V1.2 has vertical moving enemies as well as the old horizontal ones.  The next update will be to add more rooms and possibly a code for a poisoned arrow flying accross

Now in V1.1 - 10 rooms total, and the players starting position can potentially be anywhere on the screen, only 2 rooms currently use this though.

now added flashing gold (dollars) 

added a better ending and the "leave your shoes behind" bug has been lessened

more changes including score of win vs crash :)

UPDATE: 

Added an AGC  program 64, which in Apollo mission is the LM Approach phase. It's kind of like an intro where the counter count down on the AGC display planel, and is hands free. The fuel only starts going down when the AGC program changes to 66. Hope you enjoy :)

have changed the code to increase the speed (and uses a video sync delay rather than wait loop which is better. So this runs faster now, previously (and the video) show it running at same speed; however I had wrongly got my emulator running faster than realtime lol

realised my emulator was running slightly faster than realtime !! so that's why it ran slightly slower on real ZX81, anyway I just rebuilt with reduced delay loop so runs faster, whilest hopefully still being playable

I need to revisit this and add things like extra levels with different landscape,. possibly into a cave as well. More different enemies, different score for different enemies - multi rate enemies would be better, and one that track 

might be worth checking out the updated version with eaiser keys, thanks for the feedback in the stream:)

I've updated this so that the keys are easier to use, o,p,q, and a are  left, right,up and down respectively

I think i need to update the keys and better still make them configurable!

another update to help with shot collision detection, and shot length now one pixel speeds up the screen redraw

more updates, including a bonus to shoot at for 1000 points, new life at 10000, enemies disappear when shot and respawn. Each level up creates another enemy!

Next update will be to have level up after scoring say 1000 points, and then the number of enemies will increase. Also want to actually destroy and respawn enemies when hit. Number or lives will also increase by one every 10000 points.

Hoping to produce updates to this which improve the game from its current, fairly basic level. I'd like to add iteraction with guidence computer, better phydics, more "realistic" values for the flight data display, and other instrument/sensor simulated readouts

updated with extra features:

1) you now get a new life at every 100 scored

2) text is printed when SAM launch warning at bottom

3) the missile smoke only extends 3 blocks below the missile so is (remotely) possible to dodge it from below. You can still shoot the missile if you're skillful enough :)

4) ground is no longer "shootable"

5) enemys now bigger but less of them (mercy!)
