Hey, first thank you for playing and writing this feedback!

Glad you liked the general experience. You are 100% right with the content. It is still in very early stages and I plan to add much more content to it, so there will be more depth to it. Right now, if you play it very efficiently, you are done with it in 15mins, which is obviously way too short :D

I have various ideas, but it takes time. My plan is to have the next patch finished around end of February, so hopefully to see you around for that and looking forward to your feedback :)

Yes, you make a good point with depth and width. It's always more tempting to add more content instead of fleshing out what it is already there :D

I hope I can finish the next bigger update around End of February with way more depth ^^

Thank you!

Greatly appreciate your feedback! I'm also excited for the next things to add and hope to see you around for the next playtest in (hopefully) February!

Glad you liked it. I appreciate the comment ^^

Thank you man!

Thank you! I try to finish the next patch around february :D

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm excited to put much more into the next version until it is done for the final version. Hope to see you around for that again and read your feedback :D

While playtesting with a few people, I tried to find a balance between: Showing where a big upgrade is waiting for you (showing it with the crystal) and not holding the hand of the player too much ^^

And I never thought of moving the camera with WASD! I can add that. Good suggestion!

Yeah I'm already working on it, because it should feel more like exploration and not like trying to solve an annoying puzzle or something :D Being confused in a game is never really fun.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found the site and I will put my game on there as wel, once I patched the current problems :D

And thank you! Really appreciate it!

Thanks for your detailed feedback!

Yeah it's a little bit confusing. That feedback I read a lot. Sorry you had to spend so much time finding the waterfall entrance...  I will work on Clarity / Tutorials ASAP. That's why playtesting is so important.

And yes the idle gameplay loop is also missing some things and doesn't feel as satisfying.

Good Point with the night cycle. In the web version I feel like it's much darker than in the downloaded version. I will fix it as well!

Better be critical and saying the truth, even if it obviously hurts to hear :D But this is how one can learn and grow and this how I will develop hopefully something better with the next patch. I already worked on some stylization because of your comment, so I appreciate it ^^

I don't even know "Galaxy". I must look into it. Is some sort of community? I mean sounds good to get extra feedback, once I overworked this version.

And for The Legend of Idle - it was a little side project, because I liked the idea of a SNES Idle Type Game and wanted to see if others would like it too. It has nothing to do with this game, BUT... I want to work on it as a separate release as well, so I didn't abandon this project. There will be updates (hopefully at least one until the end of this month ^^)

That is a strange bug... Can you post a screenshot maybe? I'm not sure why this could be happening, since the code for it is rather simple :/

First of all thanks for this long comment! I really appreciate it.

I will work on clarity ASAP. That's why playtesting is so important. You suddenly see all the shortcomings you couldn't see yourself :D I will also add more clarity to the controls.

Yes, the sprite is a placeholder and good to know what Pixelation you liked. I will change the default to 2 and then people can decide.

I also like the idea of unique ressources, but it is not fully fleshed out, which makes it a bit underwhelming. I agree with you. In general the idle gameplay needs more depth. I played a bunch of idle games myself, so I can see that there is still a lot missing :')

I do understand your point with the graphics. I also feel like there is still a bit missing, but I also need more experience in that. I already tried a bunch of things, but learning by doing :D I hope I can still improve it or at least find some kind of way to make it pop out more :D

And good point with the new-game+. I already have some ideas to work around that, but you will see it in the next bigger update when there is more gameplay to it, so new-game+ makes sense :D

So again thank you for the detailed feedback. I will work on that!

Things that are for me clear (because I made it), aren't so obvious for first time players. I will definitely add more clarity to it!

yeah... That's why playtesting is so important. I will update it and make it more clear ASAP

He is just a fun placeholder for now :D

Tutorial gucken 3:15min von Gwizz. Ist super easy mit Godot ^^ ( Godot 4 Export to HTML and Run on itch.io Beginner Tutorial )

Thank you for playing and this long comment! I'm already working on bigger maps and more map interactivity. So it's really encouraging seeing comments like yours and to keep working on it ^^

And as the game expands, I will also add a save function :D

Thanks! Means a lot to me!

Thank you!

Hey thank you for your kind words! I loved Grow RPG back then as a kid, so I will definitely back some gameplay elements into it :D
I will keep working on this project ^^

Thank you mate! I will work on it more and add more content to it :D

Thanks for the encouraging words! I plan to add more content to it, a bigger map etc. :D

Thank you! I'm also excited to work on this more since I got a lot of ideas that could be cool to implement without losing the core identity :D I would greatly appreciate it if you come back again when I patch it and you drop your feedback ^^

Thanks mate! Could be a cool fun thing to play. I will add more content, a bigger map, maybe a little bit of a meta progression, so there will be a little bit more to do :D

Thank you mate! I would love to work this concept out more,  so the demo has like at least 20-30min worth of gameplay :D

Hey! First of all thank you for a detailed feedback! Means a lot that you took your time and it is also an encouraging and motivating feeling to see that someone cares ^^

1. Yes - The first person view felt like a cool idea, but especially in web at has some problems. Maybe I will include it later, maybe I will drop it. Not sure yet. Sometimes giving a limitation is a better choice than trying to do everything.

2. I'm also actually working on 3D Pixel Art, so hopefully when I drop the next bigger version of the game, it will look better and not like cheese :D Trying to be finished end of this month with a small playable version to test.

3. And yes - I also thought about removing workers and switching them if needed, but I also need to do some tweeking with the numbers or implement additional ways to recruit workers. I also saw one approach where you can go to "new game+" with meta progression and then you have another chance to place the workers in a different way. Both seem fun :)

It is strange how one browser works fine, another one not (except with fullscreen) - Hopefully I find a fix for it :')

Hey! Thank you for the big feedback! I'm working on a bigger version / patch! Luckily these settings are quite easy to implement. Will do it!

And the box with tools covering the volume controls. How could I miss that???

But what do you mean with the perspective? You mean for web right? When I use firefox I have a small "mouse drift" when not in fullscreen. With microsoft edge it works fine for me.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I will add a bit more instructions, so it is clear what to do. I'm sure you are not the only one, who didn't understand it in the beginning, but most people just leave and don't leave any feedback, so I really appreciate your comment!

Great! And of course! I like to keep the game updated as much as possible and gather feedback, so I appreciate you playing it! :)

Thats so strange. Can you maybe share a screenshot? I did patch it today and with my browser it works...

Hey! Like you can't go back to the sky island or you mean the hitbox is a bit janky? I will look into it! And yeah I noticed it now as well. When you switch between sky island and the exploring the world down there, the music comes back. I will fix that :D And with the next patch I will put a setting for the SFX sounds. Thank you for the feedback and playing it!

Nooooo - strange that there is collision to get stuck on. Thank you for telling me. I will patch it tonight or tomorrow with new content as well and then that will be fixed. For now there is another "solution": bottom left the button with "teleport" brings to back to the middle of the island.

Glady ^^ It's really a pleasure to see people playing your game and taking the time to give constructive feedback :)

Thank you for playing! I didn't think about that! Great suggestion! Yes I will add that and maybe also widen a little the UI, so you can see it better and realize there are more options now! I think end of the week I will have it updated with some new content ^^

Yes it's strange. Once I was stuck as well, but I couldn't reproduce it. But I will fix it. I also added the "teleport" button just for those cases, so you could reset your spot :D but greatly appreciate your feedback! I'm working on the next Patch already, should be coming end of the week!

First - Thanks for playing! I actually even included a little text on the right ^^ With the next patches I will make it even a little bit clearer and add a super small mini tutorial :)
