Thank you!

The game freezing sounds like an OpenFL bug that was discovered and resolved a few days after the jam, so unfortunately out of my control. The lack of sounds does indeed sound very strange, maybe you accidentally muted it? By default, HaxeFlixel projects allow changing volume by pressing + and - to increase/decrease and 0 to mute. The volume is then saved and loaded on future game reloads.

We're working on a post-jam remake of the game that'll present our initial idea as polished as we wanted it to be. Without the strange bugs, hopefully.😅

Thank you! If by "hard lock" you mean a freeze/crash, there's a very high chance that it's due to an OpenFL bug I discovered a day after submitting the game... so I'm not taking the blame for that one hehe 😅.  We'll very likely come back to this sometime soon!

Unfortunately we didn't have time to implement a proper tutorial and some of the art assets are placeholders. I've added additional information on the game's page that explain certain mechanics. In the third level, you are supposed to drop the key plant onto the deposit. Once activated, the "Br" blocks will swap. Blue blocks aren't collidable (you will fall through them) while brown ones are. This will allow you to go to the right and get a mushroom. Use this mushroom to get back on the big plant at the start of the level and ride it down. On your way down you will notice a white rectangle. Jump into it and it will send you to the exit. It's a teleporter.

We're well aware that it's confusing, especially considering that some sprites are missing. Hopefully the additional info I've provided on the game's page can help out a bit. We'll likely come back to this sometime in the future and properly complete and polish it, like we wanted to.

Thank you!! Will keep more interactive tutorials in mind when making another game in the future

You're supposed to stamp the fish by hovering the stamp over it and pressing right click

EDIT: Sorry, we just noticed the tutorial mentions stamping the info paper, you're supposed to stamp the fish, this was an oversight and we forgot to correct it

this is awesome and cool and fun and awesome

Thank you!

ahhhh i knew there was something i forgot to fix

thank you about the music though :)

dude u just gave me the best idea

i slappe the fish but now there are fishes at my front door please help what do i do i think they are not friendly

The game's pretty good imo, either it's just me or the hitboxes of the spikes are a bit weird and also dying a bunch because the screen didnt pan was a bit annoying but oh well, pretty solid!

You are unable to rate this project because you have not submitted your own entry. You can leave a comment below though.

good game

ayo this game's pretty nice!

the mouse controls felt a bit weird, specifically the fact that you have to hold the button to keep holding an item

but for a 3d game, it's pretty awesom and sick! good job
