Arrow keys to move. Space to interact. When diffusing bombs, left/right arrow to select wire, down-arrow to cut.

Thank you for seeing the game. The goal was indeed to explore novel game mechanics.
Life happened during the jam, so further exploration of humor in the reply/respone texts in other levels (the reply/response text in level 1 is actually just a reskin on the pure prototype mechanics used in level 2 and 3) and further variations in the puzzle mechanics in additional levels didn't happen. Maybe after the jam.
Cool concept. Think I found a broken strategy, which make it harder to then explore the intended gameplay.
Managed break the highscore with 7200 points! Just walked in one direction (running away from my own bullets) and fired relentlessly. Slightly different timing each round, but that seems to be the way to the highest score.

The goal is to make everyone you meet during the day happy. If you end the day with any character not being happy, you get sad and need to relive the day again.
You need to pick up and place cards in the cycling card slots to make the correct character interactions during the day.
On the lower part of the screen there is a group of card slots that cycles each second. When a slot is activated the card in the slot is activated. Usually this is an interaction with the characters in the current part of the level.
You pick up a card by walking over it. When the card is in the queue you place it into the currently active card slot by pressing Enter. You discard a card by pressing Space.
Controls are under the Instruction menu:
----------
Up / Down Arrow keys -- Moves player up and down
SPACE -- Discards the first card in the queue
ENTER -- Places the first card in the queue into the current active slot
Press ESC to return to main menu
